northern lights

Yeah I'm doing a Northern Lights from feminized seeds as well and mine is only 6 days from first sprouting and is bigger than that. I don't bother with any high end soils, I go with a mixture of my own compost and Miracle Grow potting mix, all sterilized in the oven, then limited veg and flowering nutrients. I've never had a problem with slow growth. Now I'm no expert, just a guy who loves plants of all kinds, but I have always had my best success with as simple of a set up as I can manage (except lights). Hope those girls start pushing soon. Good luck!!!

During the forum change I cant get on the ballinonabudget account but ill continue in this thread just a new name. Vos I honestly didn't want to wait on dirt as I have to order online. I have a 600hps there just to young. Gonna snap a few pics of the northern lights they look quite nice. Clone I took of the bag seeds doin well to. I also read NL doesnt mind hot soil ever.. just not over fert so I decided to pop. Few in

Both are in same size pots same soil same 175mh I guess I got a good pheno pot a bad one lol either way they are well on thier way now that shifty soils gone.

Is it just me or do northern light plants have the most defined leaves? This is my first real seed grow the rest were Nd are about to end bagseed. The nl are about two weeks from sprout or so but had soil troubles. They are loving the ffof I put them in while the shell was still on the cotyeladons and have just blown up the past week.

I agree. I started mine in FFOF and she's growing fast! This is also my first grow.

Just. Looked and they are around a month or more from sprout ill have get exact date when lights on. Stupid seed starter dirt...

Newgrow....your babies are looking good!

AtownSmoker...I got my nirvana nl seeds from Herbies.

I tried to start a grow journal but it's telling me I don't have permission. I germ'd 5 nirvana northern light seeds and two of them sprouted on April 3rd and the third one sprouted on April 4th. I accidentally let the paper towel dry out too much so two of the seeds didn't sprout. They are 10 days from sprout.

If all of us cant master northern lights somethings wrong we have great variations in the same plant. Should be able to work together and produce some dank ass light

Yeah mine are going through a heck of a spurt right now. Considering the trouble in the beginning I have to say NL is a very stable strain with extreme forgiveness lol

I have never had a single burn issue using FFOF for
baby clones every year but I'm not sure about babies from seed though
in FFOF. I'm thinking you should be fine.

Glad to hear yours are growing good. I'm growing in fox farm light warrior, and I added about 25% more perlite. Mine are growing pretty slow in the beer cups, but they haven't developed a good root structure yet. They are 13 days from sprout.

This is what I woke up to this morning. Apparently, my t5 was a bit too close. I raised the light to where it is in the picture. If I kill these babies I'm giving up. lol
