Awesome! looks like you have at least a few weeks remaining and lots of swelling to go. I took my nl down at 70 days and it was probably a week or more early.

Almost didn't recognize you without your wife's picture on the avatar.

Anyways an NL thats 70+ days of flowing is outrageous, 9 weeks tops.

Today 55 days flowering.
The roots are so thick that the drip ring stops dripping if the bucket is less then about half way full. So I need to keep topping off the water/food supply . I do now have the extra Rez for the next grow which will make maintenance much easier.
Cheers! Have a fantastic weekend.

There was some very light green growth hidden in the lower depths of the plant by the tight branching and many leaves so I pruned a lot of leaves and tucked some outter branches under the scrog screen so that the light would be able to hit those areas .

I’m getting close. I see a dramatic difference between yesterday and today. The beautiful brown hairs are tightening up the buds into Christmas Tree shapes!
I dropped my ppm down to 350. She looks great! Very happy to have made it this far!! It’s a Christmas celebration!!

Still trimmed a bunch of leaves. I looked at the Trichomes with my scope and she is no way ready yet. In a small bud sample I was going to test smoke I saw some very immature black headed trichomes and on these big buds I’m not seeing any ambers so I will just watch and wait. Low nutes to flush these next days or weeks .......
here are some of the buds today.
cheers!

Thanks, I trimmed her and she looks a lot better. She was one scary son of a bitch and I trimmed her and she looks really good now. In fact she is oozing. She is weeping with trichome melt in spots. Look at this close up I found in my jewelers loop.

Holy crap ive never seen trichome melt before. Your grow is incredible and the buds looks so good. Do you think that light has made all the difference from your other grows? How about that stand alone water system any problems or annoyances from it? Congrats on your crop looks amazing. Hard work paying off.

because this is the first waterfarm I have done with this light I can’t be certain that this light helps the yield .

I was discussing the difference between cob vs HPS with someone recently regarding importance of heat on the plant which HPS provides and cobs do not. Heat playing a key positive contributor to the yield .

I would have to do a side by side with them to see what type of differences happen with the same strain.

This Timber COB light is very energy efficient and keeps heat down. The upward praying effect that I got with the leaves was weird and I don’t know if that was the pheno or light . I need to do another grow.

The stand alone water system is high maintenance because it only pulled a half gallon at a time so it is very time consuming.

Hopefully this NL is a good smoke and if it is I will be very happy because I wil have a lot of meds for a long time.

Thank you. I have a nice big glass bowl to trim over, 2 pairs of friskars scissors and a small hand saw. I moved all my clothes out of the closet I will be using to hang dry . The shelves in there will work well. They have a lot of bars and will be great to place buds on to dry lying down allowing excellent airflow and i can also hang dry a bunch easily. I might take a marker to draw lines on my branches . That way I will be prepared to know where to saw so that I have a hook to hang as many single bud branches as possible.

I ordered 4 brown Ball quart sizes curing jars, 4 small temp/ humidity readers for the jars and some Integra 55% humidity packs 8g.
I still have some large paper bags leaf yard size to also dry buds in.

I forgot about lowering my ph with my flushing . I noticed some of the very top of the buds smallest leaves starting to get yellow tips. I don’t have ph down and I am not seeing any amber trichomes at this point either so I have to decide if I want to start back up with some nutes because it has ph buffers of add some white vinegar and in the mean time order some ph down ?

DAT,
I wouldn't worry about the yellow tips. Your leaves still contain much stored nutrients. Though the combination of your flush time plus whatever time you need to get amber...that might be too long. You'll have to decide.

I was completely wrong about my ph!!
I pulled a sample from my Rez and it was 5.1!! And my ppm still up at 500ppm. So it was actually more likely the light. So I raised the light and dimmed it down. The buds that were most yellow at the upper tips happened to be in the middle to the left directly under the bulb.

i am taking samples of buds now for quick dry to see if I like the profile. I actually noticed ambers on the bud I chopped but also still seeing some pilsils popping on buds still pumping it out. I might chop section at a time for a more diverse portfolio of medication levels.
Birds eye view, look to the middle left for the yellowing. Other then that most looks good except some light deprived areas that I can’t manage to expose to the light as well as I would like.
