northern lights, veg stage

Hi fellow weed lovers. I would like to share with you my mini forest i have grown for the 1st time. I placed the northern lights and afghan seeds in rockwool cubes and placed them on the window sill, where they have stayed for the duration in various sized pots. So its a indoor/outdoor grow using the suns rays. I watered them when the top 2 inches of john innes soil was dry. All I used was day old tap water (not ph tested) and every now and then tomorite for nutrients. I then realised I have a pond out in the garden and started using the water from that for nutrients. Reports on pond water is so far so good. The question I have is that the english summer solstice has been and gone and was wondering when I should start to see them budding/flowering and what i should start to see happening. All answers/opinion will be greatly appreciated.

You'll see the leave centers at the end of the branches get lighter, hairs (PISTOLS) will start to sprout. They start to grow into buds and get larger, and larger.....

As you can see they are now around 4 feet high including the pot. So just above 3 foot high themselves.

The plant's will start to show there sex unless there female's around the middle or the end of this month sometimes begining of september just go on the way thing are happening on the outdoors in the uk that is the best and easyest way for a first time grower has we come into autum that when the plants will throw there buds.Just one thing i would advice on adding some flowering nutrients you will increase the yeild by 90%.There is no dought that pond water will keep the plants happy because of the silt that is gathered in them this is a great sauce nitrogean. But get some floweing nutes look for a good feed with a good pk ratio has the plants will still need nitrogean but the other two ellements become more crucial in the flowering stage.Go for advanced sensi pro a and b start of with a low ammount and work your way up through the following 8 week. Also still use the pond water but add the nutes to that but be careful not to get any bugs in the water autum is the time when most insect life shuts down so you should be ok...........tyke......

^Agreed. Wow, those are some really nice plants, having been grown in a windowsill, like that. Most guys can't get enough light intensity, where they place theirs.

They are plenty old enough to be showing sex, so if you take a close look at the upper internodes, you should be able to see small preflowers. Give us some nice close up pics, if you need a hand sorting them out. :)
