Northern Lights. Is it ready to harvest (bud pic)

Hi all.
As you can see from the pics below, is a Northern Lights that has been grown on the window sill. The pistils are turning brown but when under a 60x microscope the trichomes are still clear. Just want to know from anyone if now is the time to harvest or should wait for the trichomes to go cloudy/reddish brown. Have heard both are the times to harvest, so am a bit confused which one is correct.

God knows how many weeks its been ive lost count. I planted it from seed back in late feb early march

well wait untill the trich get some color. if its true NL its indica, witch you should see some amber trichs when ready, atleast all cloudy for it to be potent and a good high.

Thanks a lot for all your input. Nearly chopped it when i noticed the pistils were dark. Glad I didnt!!! You lot have saved it going to waste

well it depends on what kind of high your looking at before you harvest =/ if you want couch high wait 2 weeks. smooth yet trippy about a week. for pure smoothness and headrush can harvest now. but its a nice grow man =D you got some northern lights.

Think i will just leave it realmaple. I grow it for my mrs anyway i dont touch the stuff. I just enjoy growing it, (sad i know) but it does give out a nice smell and its looking lovely so will leave it to, shall we say "mature"..... lol
