Please feel free to post in my journal, and to ask any questions you might have! Comments and suggestions are welcome as well!
Here is a little info on some of the equipment I plan on using during this grow;
For Vegging;
4 foot 4 bulb T5 florescent light fixture.
4 54 watt SHO 6400K bulbs.
For flowering;
Large sized adjust a wing reflector.
Large sized light spreader.
1000 watt Crop Master sun-system 10 switchable ballast.
1000 watt Eye Hortilux super HPS bulb.
Medium;
I love using Black Gold Organic Potting mix, and that is what I plan on using. However, the only place I know that sells it has been out of stock for over 5 weeks! I hope I can find some soon, I have only 1 bag left and that is just enough to get me started. I will be using 5 gallon black pots to grow in.
Day 1, germination;
I use the paper towel method. One moist paper towel, and one plastic cup for each seed. Never forget to label your seeds, plants, and pots. It would really suck to spend all this time and money, and not know exactly which plant is which at the end!
I like to leave about 1/4-1/8 of an inch of water in the bottom of the cup, and I put the cups in my sock drawer. I'll check back in about 48 hours and hopefully the seeds will have cracked and sprouted a tap root.
