Northern CA When to Start?

Hi everyone. I am in Northern California and I have never done an outdoor grow (I am growing indoors), but I am considering doing one. I was curious when other people start there babies outdoors. I am imagining I would do it when I start my other veggies, but I always get impatient and start them too soon. I am thinking Mid to late April. Thanks for the input.

i would plant april 5th. it is the day that the farmers almanac says is best for germinating seeds, since the moon will be starting its new cycle, and it will be good weather in norcal. i am in norcal right now, and ive started some freebies that i got as a test to see if the weathers good...ill be able to tell u tomorrow as tonight is the first night theyre outside!

Great! I live near the coast, but North of you. The nights are still pretty cold, but I think it is getting close!

I'm in nor cal too. Careful about planting in april. I did last year and everything went into flowering immediately. It happened to quite a few friends of mine up here too. Just make sure you're plants get full sun when you plant.

I live in the Santa Cruz mountains too, more on the Los Gatos side and I planted in Feb. Some of the plants started to flower at first now they stopped and are starting to grow taller so I think now would be a good time.
