This was my war on slugs about mid? in the season. If I would have done this earlier I wouldn't have had much problems at all.

my friend's mom does the beer thing in her gardens and swears by it for slugs. I never saw the pennies used though. do slugs hate copper? if you're worried about ph maybe you could concoct a light mulch to put there to maybe absorb the copper.

Everything ended out just fine. Not really worried about the PH. Harvested over a pound of NL.

they say that the copper reacts with the salts and moisture in the soil and creates a slight charge that slugs wont touch.

ok so today marks the beginning of week 5 of flower of what should be a 10 week total time. The shortest is 18 in. and the tallest are 2 ft. They are starting to frost up nice and should start packing on the weight now. They smell spicy and sweet so far. It's getting exciting. I feed them sparingly and i finally seem to be able to grasp maintaining the soil ph. I think the superthrive that i've used in the past really jacked the ph even though I always quit using it at least a week before flower. No superthrive this time and no ph issues. I have included some more just-okay pics. This is my first grow using an hps so I'm not sure what to expect for yeild. Any guesses? ffof soil w/extra perlite, 32 day veg, no nutes till flower, and light doses of big bloom or tiger bloom every other watering. light is 400w and temps range from 70-90 on a hot day but satori can take it. I water on wednesdays and sundays lol. Just trying to help the yeild guessers.

Wassup NE...I kno the eastcoast is very scary (lol) alot of people wanna share but r kinda hesitant 2 share but look at it this way u can drive a car everyday and decide 2 walk on a nice one and get hit by a bus..(jk)..i jus mean its ok 2 play it safe but jus minor input goes a long way in the long run..

i don't know where the hell everyone went but i said i was going to update as the grow progressed so here it is. the satori has been blooming for just over 10 weeks now. They are getting another week before they get cut and then they should be just right. still mostly cloudy trichs. i only was able to get pics of the 2 top colas on 1 of the plants before my camera shut off. (sony cybershot. don't get me started.) the crispy leaves are because of heat stress and going a too long without a drink a couple times. but here they are. the first bud is about the width of a soda can in the fattest parts. i'm excited. in all i have about 5 of those size colas in the grow. and can we please bring this thread back? isn't any northeast weed grown locally? where the hell is everyone?
