Your country may tremble at a threat from NK, but to the U.S. this is just another 10 year endeavor waiting LOL.

Meh... NK is not really worth worrying about. It's their big sister (China) that may back them that we have to be concerned about. Even though China is pissed at them, the bottom line is China will back up NK before they back us. But the Chinese will not engage us directly in war because then we would no longer pay them the BILLIONS of dollars we owe. China will not officially go to war with us because they are our biggest debtor, and we are their largest source of income.

NK is just crazy and would use whatever technology and hacks China would give them against us. But in the end, they could not sustain any type of engagement with us for an extended period of time. Not at sea, not in the air, not in space, not on land. Cyberspace they have the best edge because of all the hacking China has been doing on us, and it's an even playing field.

I say fuck 'em. Let them do something crazy so we can justify a greater response and not be immediately shunned by other civilized nations governments.

yeah no doubt they are hopeless. but even if they did decide to go down the path of national suicide and let off a nuke, that's still 1 nuke that will fuck shit up.

There is not a single person alive on the planet at this moment that will ever get the chance to even know that another nuclear warhead was used against another nation.

It simply is not going to happen, ever. All the nukes that will ever be used in history have already been used, end of story.

Now going to war, hell yea, there is too much money to be made from war, there will always be a war going on somewhere.

I worry more about a giant herd of rabid chinchillas taking over the country, than a nuke from a near destitute country.

I can agree that the country might not be broke, but its people and military are grossly ill equiped and they would not be so stupid as to even throw rocks at anyone, let alone the US or GB or anyone else for that matter.

I have nothing against them, becuase they are simply a threat to themselves and noone else.

What??? North Korea is near the very bottom of the most poor countries. The CIA ranks it 165 out of 185. Only some Countries in Africa rank lower.

North Korea runs about $1B per year in trade deficit. That extra billion they import but can't afford is mostly food. It's not getting better. I really wish folks would not attempt these illegal passes.

The Truman stuff from WW2 has been largely de-classified. The secret, was Truman didn't need to nuke Japan. But, in a show of ruthlessness to Stalin, He did.
