I seen on the news in my state of North Carolina that they're passing the bill? Anyone else in the area see this? i can't find much info about it but whoever else is in NC post up and let me know if y'all have heard anything.

They are voting on it next month (July) from what I've heard. It's not going to be anything like the med laws in Cali though. It will be highly regulated here, not anything to get excited about that's for sure.

Are you so sure about that? I have read differently. If you read the Bill it will tell you everything you need to know. If I'm not mistaken I did remember the bill talking specifically about how people could become med patients, as well as how to become a med caregiver and the amounts of plants you could grow per patient. does anyone else have any input on this?

It is something to get excited about if the program is anything like the one we have in michigan you will be able to get a card healthy or not, a lot of doctors want to make insane money so...soon enough you guys will be trading, smoking, and growing weed legally so def be excited. Med State = It is basically legal...so get excited guys and get out there and vote if it is coming to a vote.

I do agree its a step in the right direction, but speaking from the perspective of a long-time grower, I do not and will not trust them with knowing anything about me, until the law gets well established and accepted by law enforcement. Anyone who has been paying attention has seen what is happening in colorado right now. Been doing this for a long time here, and never had a single problem, so I will be staying underground. Everyone here who wants to smoke is already doing so anyway, including the med patients, a few of which get free meds from me on a routine basis. :peace:

Hell yeah, i may me be moving one state north in few months!
But - check this out ya'll: (i never really use that word - i'm from the south, but not southern)
South Carolina General Bill S. 220 It was Drafted in '06 and presented in '07, pretty much
sitting on the governor's desk since then.
