Nice looking grow bigapple. You had asked about dragonflys a few pages back. Dragonfly's are one of if not the best aerial predator to have hanging around your plants. the will eat anything flying around your plants, butterflies, whiteflies basically anything that they can catch. So its a good thing they are there. As to why so far from water well your plnats are providing a food source for them so thats were they will be.

Think I went a little heavy on the lolipop?
nice stalk pron :)

i am a noob to the outdoors, but i'd say it is better to go heavy on the bottom cleaning based on my knowledge of pruning roses. that should encourage good air circulation, less chance of mold, etc. or so i hope for your sake.

nd point: fucking awesome grow.

I found my first bud worm today while spraying some protek. Little fucker was just chillin but its the only one ive seen so far. I sprayed like 3 days ago with some bt just for shit and giggles looks like ima have to start making it part of my routine. I should have a gang load of wasps in the mail soon here has anyone ever tried these things out? They are suppose to be 1/50 of an inch long and totally cool with people. They are suppose to do work on bud worms. I fed the ladies with a bunch of max sea...earth juice catalyst...tomato thrive..liquid fish and few other things tonight. To sum it up other than the bud worm spotting the ladies seem very happy.

That's good news bro, bud worms was the reason I built my carport. I couldn't stand throwing out, lbs&lbs, of ruined buds. My carport has paid for it's self many times over.

Good luck

Ya I could imagine I have read a bunch on the topic and I have 3 carports myself. I picked them up at cosco for this year but after the first op went sour I moved on as quick as i could leaving the carports behind. Long story but ya I wish I had them now =[ all 3 were already covered in plastic and I made gable ends with locking doors and the works! such a waste of time.

Ya I have this crazy idea with 3 50x50 tarps and 160 feet of rope. I think a hoop house would be a little bit stronger. How much do you think it would cost for me to put a house over 100x50? I was going to run a rope down the middle b.c I have 2 trees that work out great for it. Then I was going t run a rope from one to the other then pull it tight with the four wheeler. spread 3 tarps out and fasten them together and center it over the garden. Put ropes to t posts and pull it tight. Then I was going to use carabine clips to the exact spot it needs to be taunt. So I could always keep them at 1 end of the garden and when I knew it was suppose to rain 2 people could just grab one end and run it out. Clip right on a spot that keeps the tarp tight. Idk lol was a quick easy idea and im not sure the eye holes in a standard tarp would hold up although right where I live we have yet to experience heavy winds. Glad your lookin out and thanks for the heads up.

i like the idea for the tarps, keeps it simple.

a hoop house can get costly and i've discovered a few unique ways they can fail, requiring some tricky repair work.
