NorCal mmj's 2016 season

Well it's that time a year again. First I want to say how much I love everyone in the outdoor section. You all are so nice, friendly and helpful.

So I mixed up a pile of soil with my old root balls this fall, it's about a yard and a half. My mix is based off subcools recipe.
I have eight, 65 gallon, one 45 gallon, and some small pots, for a total of 12 plants. So I need 700 gallons of soil or 3 1/2 yards

i have more root balls to break up and amend but will still be a yard short. I was going to mix compost, ewc and perlite to make my extra 200 plus gallons of soil.

Is this a good mix ? Any input is great.

Does it look right? I use those to amend every run, your soil pile will get bigger everytime lol

You might want to substitute the perlite for a different aeration product because of how it breaks down in the long run. Other than that, looking good. This is more inspiration for me to start doing a little more everyday to be ready when the season starts here. Good luck and I'm onboard to watch and learn!

I was thinking rice hulls. Cheap and the feed store carrys it.

Smoking on the last of my bubble hash from fall.

Started 10 blueberry x cheese quake seeds and 10 candy train seeds today. @papapayne @northeastmarco

Well the seeds are starting to sprout. 10 for 10 on the blueberry x cheese quake and 8 of 10 on candy train. I'm sure the other 2 will pop soon, the candy train are about a day behind, looks like. Put them in on Sunday and this is what I had in 5 days.

Got my seeds transplanted.

Got some supplies and the seedlings are getting big.

I have three cheese quake X blueberry lotus going as well!

Got 16 seedlings transplanted. Killed off the 4 weak and odd looking ones. Got 8 blueberry x cheese quake and 8 candy train. I went to the garden center and got pots. They have a giant section of used pots that are cheap, what a great find.

That's awesome. I'd buy used pots if I could.

Who would have know...all I did was ask if they had plastic pots and they sell everything for a yard, trees shrubs and what not, in the back they have a bone yard of pots. They might as well be free, paid 1$ a pot.

Looking good. I'm in for the grow. Great find on the used pots. I get used ones for free from a local nursery. My wife's cousin owns it. I get the free pots, but no family discount on any plants.
