Noob version of subcools SS

Hey guys I want to be real brief I just made a mix to cook and want to get opinions on what else I could add or add more of.

1 CuFT of LW
1 CuFT of FFOF
1 CuFT of Happy frog
4 quarts dryed EWC
2 cups blood meal
2 cups bone meal
7 1/2 cups of perlite
1 cup lime
1 cup green sand

I want to add some Epsom salt but couldn't find agriculture kind.
And humic acid.
I also have left over of eat base soil.

Any advise would be great!

I figured this is either a shitty mix or a decent mix for a first timer.

someone explained this to me when i was gonna run a SS. if you have say 6 parts to your SS, you now have 6 variables that can go wrong. and if one part goes wrong, which part went wrong? you wont know. Im a new grower as well. im keeping it realy really simple. FFOF only, and nutes after 3-4 weeks. im using FFLW on my seedling uppotting and clones. ill do my SS after my first run...as long as all goes somewhat according to plan.

That's a great way to think about it, and ill be doing the same, starting seeds in light warrior.
Then planned on moving into SS, from what my understanding of organics is, it's very hard to mess up by burnin them unless they are obviously to young? So I'd assume that by the amendments I've added hopefully I could just use water, I just feel if I'm gonna use nutes I'd rather do hydro, like canna coco or something.
Are you using nutes because you think your OF will not beable to feed through flower or just because you want to juice up and grow some dank?

I deff considerd more perlite, I have what I believe is a 4 quart bag.
How much more lime you think? Another cup or so?

well myself i use ocean forest and i add like 1/3 perlite to my mix atleast. your going to want good drainage so just keep adding till your comfortable with it and after a grow you will know if you want more or less.

Alright I made some changes,

I added:
.5 CuFt FFOF
1 CuFt Happy frog
5 more cups of perlite
Little less than 1/2 cup of lime



New mix is looking like this:
1 CuFT of LW
1.5 CuFT of FFOF
2 CuFT of Happy frog
4 quarts dryed EWC
2 cups blood meal
2 cups bone meal
12 cups of perlite
1 1/2 cup lime
1 cup green sand

Again any advise would be great!!

I'm thinking I could add more blood or bone meal?

I also poured about 2 1/2 gallons of water when I made it two days ago. It's still a nice cool damp. Been mixing the shit out of it

I checked the run off of the new mix, with tap water at 8.4 pH and 35 PPM.

Run off was at 6.7 and 1367 PPM

I also use Ocean Forest with a comfortable amount of unamended perlite. Works great for me. I'd say try your mix out then make changes after a grow. You seem pretty dead set on using a very tailored mix, any reason in particular? Just wondering.

I wouldn't say I'm dead set on this mix no, I used what I did because those were the only ingredients they had available at the local garden store, tht "I knew" was commonly used and familiar with others using in their mixes.
What amendments do you use galil?
And at what measurements?

This is gonna be my first grow other than one plant in root organics 2 yrs ago

I use FFoF with added perlite, don't have exact measures as I just do it by eye. Will probably never deviate from this anytime soon as long as im dealing with soil. Remember, keep it simple!

Yea next time I will probly keep it simple. I just wanted to try this "super soil" thing. And I've already mixed all the damn soil:/

Many many things on your list there of which I only know half Your mix sounds good but as less is more then simple can be better imo.
I use around 20% perlite, 10% composted horse manure (I buy this in 50l bags), 6ts of finely ground dolomite lime per gallon and rest is a quality potting soil with a nice crumb structure.
No need for epsom salt in your soil with dolomite lime added..

Really Im just wondering if this is gonna be way to hot? For 3-4 week olds?
