@CobKits I'm looking to get some citizen 1212 gen6 from you.

I'd like to run them with an hlg240-2100b with a dimmer to run them at 1.05a.

Will the 120mm pin heatsinks be sufficient for those even if I want to crank them to max wattage?

Anyone have any idea on predrilled heat sink to use with the citizen 1212 that's not a pin type?

Jorge used the MechaTronix 9980, but I'm having a hard time finding those in stock anywhere.

Where are these types of junction boxes found? The threads I got them from say they came from northern grow lights which I can't find a website for?

Did they change to horticulture lighting group? Thats what comes up from a google search.

Are the ones with the built in potentiometer any good or better to get an external one?

I'm going to be running 12 clu048-1212 cobs with 3 Meanwell 185-1400 drivers.

To calculate max draw do I just use the standards VxA=W to add up how many amps I'll be pulling from the wall?

So 12 cobs at full 1.4a power would be 12x1.4?

I've got my 3 light bars built. Each 48" bar has 4 1212s on it spaced 14" apart.

I'm starting to lean on maybe only running 2 of the rails over each 50"x30" system to save a little money up front on the build.

I've calculated par watts, based on a chart @JorgeGonzales made a while back, at 16.42 watts/Sqft using only 2 bars.. So 8 lights. Running at 1.4amps, so 50.4 watts each.

Can anyone give me some insight on whether or not this is a good setup or if it would be better to run my original plan of 12 lights at 1.05amps. That would be 36.8 watts per light and about 19 par watts per square foot.
