well thanks for the input and i will definitely folllow your instructions and since i only had one seed in a clear cup i will put the newly germinated seeds in different types of containers
later on tonight when i get a chance i will put the new seeds in a different container

by the way what does everyone think of that soil... is it legit to use?

slow release ferts eh? thats pretty similiar to what Im using except Im using Miracle Gro Moisture Control potting mix...
I probably wouldnt have started my seedlings off in it tho, and I dunno how it is with draining bcuz it doesnt look like theres much Perlite in it..I started my babys off in jiffy cubes, which is mostly peat moss..then after 2 weeks when I kow they can handle the low strength ferts Im gonna transplant them into the MG soil and not feed them ferts till its time for flowering..
have any pop'd up yet?

i forgot to put those sprouts in the soil last night but itll do it tonight if i get a chance, but the one that i had in the clear cup hasnt come up so im figuring it died or something

damn its been a long ass time since i posted. heres whats happened in the past couple of days... my first seedling never came up so i gave up and put another one in the cup. this was on friday and i came back sunday froma trip to my girlfriends brothers apartment. i check on the situation and the baby is about 3 inches above the soil but the first leaves are looking yellow. i gave them some water and let them sit in the sunlight since my lights are set up at a friends. i then looked at the paper towel and there was another root that was about 2 inches out of the seed but it was looking a little thirsty. i wetted the paper towel and let it sit for the night. Back to the other guy i put in the clear cup... monday i brought it to my friends and put it under the light for the night and gave it some water. Yesterday, i transplanted it into a sand bucket with some different soil from my friends house. Then, i took the seedling in the paper towel and put it in a cottage cheese container and left it at my friends. We turned the lights on around 8 and let them do their thing. i put 4 more seeds ina paper towel so we can get some more going. i will take some pictures when i get a chance and let you guys know how theyre looking.
