Hey fellow growers, just thought id share a few pics and my experience thus far,

I have done a couple of grows before this but i literally had no clue, i just read the back of the nute bottle and fed them straight tap water with no ph adjustment and as you can imagine i ended up with allsorts of deficiencys, i still ended up with a decent yield but the plants looked like shit towards the end.
Luckily since then ive done abit of research invested in a ph and ppm meter, which i would most defo reccomend to any new grower as they are simply essential.

Anyway heres a few of my babys, there exactly 14 days old from seedling, my strains are, Original sensible Pure Kush, and Original Sensible Chronic Lights which are both great strains for new growers, ive done them both before and they can take alot of stick, im also doing for the first time, white widow x big bud, sam sara green love poition, and last but defo not least one of my favorite smokes, Blue Cheese.
Im growing in canna coco coir pro, mixed with perlite 70/30, my nute tank consists of canna coco a and b, rhizotonic, cannazym and from last week a dose of cal mag as my baby leafs strarted to turn yellow with brown spots, as my tap water is very soft, and using coco which sucks alot of the cal mag up and they wasnt getting enough so i added the cal mag and within a day or 2 the affected leafs seemed to glaze over and the yellowing stopped spreading. (Phew)
I started my seedlings on a low ec mix of just 0.3 which including my tap water which is 0.1 and gradually upped the dose now im on 0.7 and they seem to love it, my ph is around 5.8 and 6.0 it seems to raise over time from 5.8 but i dont like to add ph down as it adds to the ec, hopefully they dont mind to much.

Well guys there it is, please feel free to share any feedback, all is appreciated, ive been on here a while so i know to take all with a pinch of salt as ultimately we can only find our own way, no amount of opinions no matter how expert can amount to your personal experience of learning your plants and adapting to be a better grower.

Good luck to all my fellow growers. Ill be updating this post with the progrees through my girls lifes.

Peace :)

I just started on 6 pure kush. What does it smell like? how does it smoke? how well does it yield?
Not sure yet as shes still growing.. there in there 2nd week of flower, im impressed though, nice big thick stalks, i can tell already the stalks are going to be stacked with bud, only problems ive had is a mg deficiency which i sorted with epsom salts but theres still a few yellowing leaves but the majority look healthy.. so far shes been a joy to grow and certainly the best looking out of all the strains...

Cheers bro, i just top the once and do a little lts so they dont get to tall as i only have 4ft in height to work with and thats including the hps... funny enough my stalks really started to thicken up when i started using silicon in every feed around 2 weeks ago, its really cheap and seems to work wonders for your stalks amd foliage... i always top as i prefer two big colas as oppose to one..

Yeah this is something new I'm trying out. I know how to handle big pots. Now I'm trying to manage small pots. I go with ffof and perlite. I try to bend the law of normality when it comes to growing. Want know unless you try is my method

Yes i have friends who only use small pots fill a room out with them, i think they do it with autos though!!!, before crop there room just looks a forest of main colas and the canaopy always seems alot more even, so its defo something id try one day, imstill getting the hang of growing in general .... although i have been quiet lucky with crop size so far, i put it down to using a 600w for every 2 plants, it really seems to pack the bud on, ive been told its a waste of electricity but i dare not use any less through fear of getting a smaller crop lol

I remember my first big harvest for a small op. 4 Sativa's 12/12 from seed. 600 watt 3x3 and pulled 20 oz. Didn't look back after that

Yh if i vegged longer i most defo would top more but with my height restrictions i flipped these at 4 weeks, and on the recent pic there nearlly 6 weeks old and already all are over 3ft tall, i just dont have the height to veg for longer, and i dont fancie topping multiple times in 4 weeks i dont think it would get past the first node... ive been thinking about doing a scrog next time to control my canopy more...

Thats nice, last xmas i pulled an average of 5 oz a plant, 58oz off 9 plants, first grow ever, didnt even ph test my tap water, followed the guidelines off the back of the nute bottle, lord only knows how managed it thinking back from what ive learned now, but since then ive done another 2 grows and niether of them come close to the first one, although this one looks like its on the right path, on my first one i messed up that bad through veg i had guys on here telling me scrap to them and start again, but i refused to and they just seemed to come around a week into flower, id love to know what i did for them that made the flourish like they did...

I know people that want to show off and would. :wall: Lol
Yes theres certainly alot of bullshitters on these sites, i dont blame you for been skeptical, i was surprised as anyone to how well it went.. chronic lights and amnesia haze... heres some pics i just pulled off my old posts, this was the crop im talking about at various stages.. im hoping for a turn out like that this year, they were literally 3 ft stalks stacked with bud from top to bottom, by the laws of science they say using more than 1 600w per square meter is pointless but i reckon the more light the better my 600w are literally back to back and the space i grow in is so enclosed it acts as a perfect light trap, it just gets so overrun towards the end i have alot of trouble getting in to feed them especially when they start drinking a few litres daily, it becomes hard work...
