NOOB - Frist Plant - Green Reptile

this is my first time growing... i am new at this... i read alot of blogs and books on how to grow... i know my first grow isnt going to be great... and that it does take practice to get it right... but any advance growers can give me any advice on what i could be doing different... keep in mind... i am on a budget!!! lol... it is all for personal use... but i was hoping to get 2 zips off one small planet... but from the look of it... seems i might be lucky to get half a zip...

keep in mind... this is my first time...

i veg for 14 days...
blacked out for 2 days...
and been flowering for 33 days...

i am guessing i should have another 30 to 40 days of flowering...

it has 20 small buds on it...

it is only 19.5 inches tall...

i am wanting to keep it small... less than 36 inches if possible...

Hmm, how carefully did you read said books/blogs? 2 weeks isn't very long to veg and yes, you are only about half way done with flowering if that. You have to be patient and let her finish or else you won't even want to smoke her!

Also, more info about your setup would be useful. From the looks of it you don't have a source of fresh air. CO2 is required for photosynthesis and without it your plants will lack. With no fresh air plants use up the CO2 in a room quickly.

Keep reading and slow your roll! Only a few more weeks! Don't forget to flush!

i was reading that 4 weeks or more is ideal... but thought i would try it anyways... since it is my first grow... worse thing that could happen would be my yield... and seems like that is what happen... i know my next one i am going to veg for 4 weeks or longer... so it can become fuller... as for my room... it is in my closet... nothing special... i have a air vent that is from my house unit that shoots into my closet... keep in mind i am growing out of a cardboard box!!! lol... keeping it on a budget since it is my first time... figured if it goes well... i am trying something a little better than what i did this time...

but in my box... i do have two computer fans that are pushing air in... i did make a hole at the top of the box were the lights are to push the raising warm air out... its about 2 inches by 2 inches... i know its not very big... i thought about another fan to push air out... i am using 3 x 100 watt fluorescent spiral light bulbs... yellow tint to them... 2700k... i did use a blue tint 6400k for veg... again... i am on a budget... reason why i went with them... i foiled the box... i realized that wasnt a good idea... i notice it creates hot points... so i rotate the plant daily now... i would like to get into using co2 and maybe a better vent system... i prefer to water it by hand... seems like i care more and play attention to it if i do so...

i would be happy to get a zip or two off one plant... that should last me till the next one is done i am hoping!!! lol...

Those look pretty good man, way better than my first plants. You are in a crucial stage for packing on bud weight now, those buds are going to fatten up!

Hard to tell what you will get, only the scale will tell. I think with that short of veg you can get around an ounce. But anything is possible and there are no guarantees.

freaking Arkansas!!! yea... it sucks... for something fresh which still sticks to your fingers... your looking at 20 - 25 a g... something a little drier... or the shake your looking at 15 - 20 a g... really depends on who you dealing with... but i like my fresh... so end up paying a little more... i collected enough seeds... and kept them bagged and named... i figured it is time to put them to use!!! time to stop buying!!! lol... and just supply myself!!!

Holy shit, must be a pretty dry state! That's a rent payment here!

I would keep your plant number down and just veg them for a little longer. This will be easier to justify personal use in court if you where to get into legal trouble. I would keep it top secret, don't even show your best friend.

Just keep up the good work and I know you will be happy with what you get. An ounce is not out of the question, could be more! Who knows?

i was only thinking to grow one... maybe two... but i think one should hold me plant to plant!!! its a bible belt state!!! you have a drive thru liquor store and a church on every other corner!!! lol... but yea... it isnt cheap here.. wish it was!!! lol...

Yeah just stick with one plant then. Better safe than sorry! Should be enough weed to get you through, or atleast pretty close.

What I like to do is figure out the average number of weeks I have between harvests and divide it by how much weed I have. Try to ration it out. This works most of the time, but some days I just like to sit around and chief. Save your roaches, they add up!

it last pretty long... i use a vaporizer so a gram can go a long way!!!

i say i would use about a half gram which will give me two sessions... if i am by myself... thats about 40 mins of vaping... lol... if my wife decides to join... its cuts me down to about 10 mins!!! lol... no on a serious note... 20 mins... which is cool... so i can make it last!!!

get some more light on those lower bud shoots, might as well to try to pull what ever you can out of her...I atleast veg for 8-9 weeks or until preflowers show. normally I'll wait until preflowers show which means it's matured and ready to flip the lights.

In CO we get the best prices on bud from what i seen, better deals in cali everywhere else is just a rip off lol

170 might get you good, 100 with get you veryyy decent...unless im wrong. What places do you shop at(<allowed to talk about this?)? IMO the best here is around 250-400(greenman true SD, skunkberry, etc). Haven't had to the chance to try anyone of these "elites" but I know the stuff I get for 150-200 is not the best in town...

again just what Ive seen...Id love to hear some recommendations on where to get some chron for cheap!
