Noob First Timer!!

Hey guys,

So i found a seed in my chronic about a month ago. I decided CFL growing was within my budget and worked with my space confinement. I'm about to hit week 3 since germination and I'm using two 60 watt 6500k CFLs. Its growing pretty quickly but I'm sure I need more light. I've been reading The Grow Bible, via Scribd.com so I'm sure I'm doing ok. Anyways any advice is welcome

Looks like you are doing well there. You are doing the best thing that you can by grabbing bagseed and tossing it in some soil. The stuff that you will learn from this experience will help you move to bigger and better setups.

I don't have any advise for you as I am still new but it looks like you are starting it off the correct way! Good luck!

Hey Oso. For 3 weeks, that Baby look Fine. Lots of undergrowth. Are you planning to LST? What size f growing area are you working with? As Angryblackman said, Bagseed is the way to go to start out and get your feet wet.
Can you give us a little more info on your setup? I am subbed and will be checking back to see your progress. You can see my progress at the same stage, 3 weeks, purple kush, obviously a different strain but i think you are doing great so far.

Thanks a lot, I'm actually working with a very limited space so I can't really lst. I actually opted to top it, hoping to basically bush it out from here. She looks great aside from a possible spider mite infestation. I'll keep you posted :leaf:

Hey, I'm going to finally start growing in a week or two and am going to follow yours (im subd) because i too am working with very limited space and am only growing one at a time. So goodluck and keep it fun

Thanks, I'll post some pics of the setup. I'm still new to it so maybe you shouldnt be following my advice lol. But there's a book I'm sure everyone is familiar with called The Cannabis Grow Bible, you can find an online copy on scribd.com, between that and this forum you almost can't mess up. Angryblackman has a more legit setup!

I figured it was pretty bushy already so I'd just stick with what was goin. As wannasmokeweed said, I'm really just testing the waters. If this grow is , I'd sub to my next thread lol.

Lol I meant ill be watching your grow lol not following everything you do lol. But with mine I'm going to do LST and fim it to keep it bushy and short. BTW do you know the strain?

i like to top, if u are limited with space9.jpg topping makes wonders. u can top for 2 or four colas. light hits each cola better which increases ur yield. here is a pic of results of topping7.jpg

and a pick of my first grow ever lol the plant on the bottom right was the only one topped, which made me a fan of topping.4.jpg
