How did you germinate your seeds?
first I started by the paper towel method.....but switched to soaking them in a bowl. Then they finally opened. Im pretty sure I put them in the soil way to early.......germed for two days....in soil for two days......still nothing. even watered the soil. soil is still moist. Hope to see something by the end of the week.

Worst thing I did was hover over my seedlings. Just let them be man. Smoke a bowl and do some reading on when and how much to feed in the beginning. I wouldn't do anything to the seedlings for at least 2-3 days.

There's not really a "too early to put in soil" thing in the sense that it'll just not grow. You can put them directly it soil without germinating, it'll just take longer, much much longer, to sprout if you do and you have to be extra careful abut soil moisture.

My method of germination is simple. Drop them in a 3fl oz cup, wait for them to see, watch close once they "crack" I plant. It's a simple as pouring the cup, water and seed, into moist soil about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch down. Cover with plastic wrap to keep soil from drying out. Once it sprouts, remove plastic wrap and let her do her thing.

One thing a few folks forget, the early roots are sensitive, if you handle them with your fingers, it could kill them, especially if you didn't wash your hands prior. My cardinal rule, never never touch my seeds with my fingers once germination has begun.

Ill just be more patient. I know I got good products...maybe its just the hype of wanting to watch the stages and get excited is getting at me lol. I see so many posts about plants having spots and stuff. It makes me want to bring in a AC unit and get the temp locked in so its better to control humidity. I want to make sure this Northern Lights tastes as good as my little sister says it does lmfao.

I did forget to mention that.....I work at a hospital and wash my hands like its no ones business lol. So i washed half way up my arms like I do at work and then I even put on oatmeal based glove on for extra precaution.

now about the way i germed......I had then cracked open and a decent amount of white root was coming out. (about the length of the seed). I will just keep light on and hope the pop by the end of this week.

I give mine 10 to 14 days after planting before I dig to check.

Before or after the fan. Like do I put the fan after the T fitting or before
Before. On the the single side of the Y will be ouput the other end would be intake. The dryer would attach to one side and the fan would push through the other. If you are worried about the smell in your dryer which shouldn't happen, you can by a baffle (shut off) to keep air from possibly going into the dryer

Hey what's up everyone! My name is Dylan. I pretty much made the decision to start growing because I was sick of the handfuls of pills the VA Is giving me.....plus I'm tired of buying weed.... and get free BETER meds. So I ordered from Herbies. I'm STOKED my order should be here tomorrow :) it's about 40miles away.

I ordered:
Strain hunters money makers fem. (3 seeds)
Vision northern lights auto fem (5)

And got the following free (Herbies)

(1) dinafem OG kush fem
(2) reg afgani

My set up is in my laundry room.....which my major problem is humidity. I'll be putting a dehumidifier in and also a window AC unit. I get peaks up to 91% and as low as 54%. Temps are perfect.

3cu ft of soil
Dr. Earth organic soil
Dr. earth organic fertilizer
Distilled water
T5 4 bulb lighting 6500k
Tiger bloom nutrients

I originally wanted a LED grow.....but the T5 was at a local pawnshop for $69....I looked it up and it's a $190 lamp...
So when my first grow is done I may switch to LED

Any tips appreciated!!
Alot of this is going to come down to your room environment.

To put it simple, you could beat the dehu with an hps. You could beat the a/c with led ect...
Cold and dry = hid + humidifier
Cold and humid = hid
Hot and humid = hid + a/c
Hot and dry = led + humidifier ect...
