apologize for that then my bad not to big on hydroponics, but how often do i change the water and should i still dip my cutting in rooting hormone then the water? thanks
Hello blizake....I will show you what I do thats been about 99% successful.....All I use is a bucket and a water pump...I change the nutes about every five days or so....

I do dip useing the gell from clonex and clonex nutes....to start I use 200-300ppm or just enough to get the ph around 5.8-6.0....

The pump I use is a eco264....If you think about doing this leave the filter on the pump so the roots don't get sucked up into the pump....The pump is splashing up to the bottom of the lid so you don't need an air pump just the water pump...

I don't have 50.00 into this set up for one bucket....a 5.00 bucket and a 22.00 pump...thats it....I know you already have a set up I just thought I would show you what I do....I get nice long roots that hang down in the bucket....

I have kept clones in this set up for up to 8weeks while I am waiting for my grow room to open up...with no problems....If I leave them for weeks I just let the roots ball up in the bucket and when I pull them out I just cut the roots with sizzors...There still pretty long when I cut them and they still take off....

I thought I would share some info good luck and heres some pics

I got this pump at my local grow store.....They make smaller pumps but I recomend the ECO264....this pump is just the right hieght to have a good water level...The water level should be just below the spigit on top of the pump....The pump cost 22.00 and mine has been working for over a year...good luck with your grow....

Link should help some.. really isnt too complicated once you understand what the clones are looking for, as far as rez changes go really isnt too crazy important unless you put a little bit of nutes in there but you should have roots poppin atleast in 10 days if not sooner if your doin it right but be patient dont expect them to do anything in a couple days.. as long as they look healthy the roots will come.. Peace! :leaf:
