No Trichomes Yet? w/ pictures

Question: I am in 2nd week of flower, and don't see any Trichomes. Should I have them developing?

they will ...couple more weeks

Give em some more time.

my baby is 20 days into flowering and ive seen the trichs already there but not too many yet

So, I'm lookin good so far? It's my first grow, so I'm a little over protective of her.

Those girls look fine for 2nd week of flower.

Wanted to let you know that I'm seeing some crystals on the bottom popcorn bud leafs. I have a few other questions.

Any way to tell when to harvest if you don't have a microscope?
When do they turn all of the funky purples, and such if that is the strain?
What causes it the purple buds?

^ they work but are uncomfortable and sucky, get a cheap one off ebay that is 30x it works better and you dont have to be precise with them to get em to work

How about the Purple buds. I know that it is a strain type, but what causes it and when does it happen?

I always had problems with the loupes, eyes just getting old. Now I take macro shots with my camera which makes it easy to zoom in.

you can get in close enough to see? Ill have to give it a try.
