No smell from my Cannabis

1st timer here.

Was wondering if anyone knew why my cannabis doesn’t smell. When it was smaller it smelled pretty good. As it’s getting a tad bigger it seems like the scent went away. Here are the living conditions:

Outdoor
Stems have been tied
It’s been FIM’d
2-3 days between watering
Temp has been high 80’s low 90’s (socal)
Alaska Fish Fert every 2 wks
I rub the stem it smells a bit minty
Sometimes I will get a faint smell

I provided a pic below. Maybe an expert will see something I don’t in my leaves or something.

Yea I thought he same thing too. I have another one that’s smaller and that one always smells.

That’s what throws me off.

I’ve recently sent my pic to one of my buddies of both plants to see if he can tell the difference but he gives me a generic answer. Stupid me for asking him when I know he doesn’t really know. Ha!

(Wondering maybe one is an indica and one is a Sativa)

But I believe it should have a scent right?

I provide a pic below of my smaller one with the strong scent.

Occasionally some will get stinky in veg and sometimes not. I wouldn’t worry too much if it doesn’t in veg. I would be concerned if it had no smell in flower but that’s probably unlikely.
I have a gmoozy that began to stink on its third node in veg. Looking forward to that one once it gets to the flower room. GL.

Yea I’ve been trying to find some answers. Sometimes google doesn’t have them all you know. LOL!

I’m not wishing for it. Just wondering what’s up. But that’s good to know. Definitely keep them separated right now til I’m able to distinguish the gender. But I hope they’re not male for sure!

Thanks for the feed back. This plant went through a lot of stress. Went spearfishing 1 day and when I got back it was all shriveled up do to the heat wave.

I cut the leaves off and nurtured it back to health. Who knows, might even be a hermie.

I’ll wait it out 2 wks. Over all I think you were right. Might have to set aside some where to retain these seeds for next season.

That is an important question!. Unfortunately that day was a bust. My buddies all came home with some good eats. It’s Usually the other way around. I’m always catching.

Oh well...
you win some you lose some. right?
