so the other day i took some lower branches off a couple of my trees. one was kinda big but i didnt want to leave it on the plant cuz i dislike popcorn nugs with a passion. so i put my finger in a whole and stuck the branch in the ground put my remaining water on her and thought it would be dead within the hour but who knows, i went back today (5 or 6days later) and she was perfectly healthy, the coupkle leaves at the bottom were getting droopy but they touching the dirt so not a worry, does anyone know if this branch may start to produce flowers along wtih the plants? or is it just taking a while to die?

It actually is rooting, you accidentally cloned it lol. If your plant was already in flower you probably won't get much out of it, but when you see people talking about mother plants and SoG, that's what they are doing, taking those branches and rooting them. Look in the advanced section and you can find out how to keep it thriving, there's lots of posts on cloning.

right on, sounds good to me, i took a cutting from a sister plant and that rooted in 5 days with little to no humidity.
