No odor?

The pistils have already started turning brown but it has no odor to it. Am I just being impatient or should she have some smell by now? She's past waist high so I feel like she should have some sort of dankness to her

Some plants smell more then others. I had a northern light auto that barely smelled at all unless you put your nose right up to the buds.

Most of my plants dont emit a smell unless you rupture a trichome head, touch a bud. have temps too high, or are stressed

I dont even use carbon filters. Shit turns dank after curing and most of the top trichs have busted. Needs airtight non porous container and still smells. Grind up some bud and it reeks.

Perhaps you just did your job properly and theres no issue at all?

I know some smell more than others but it just has the "green" smell to it. And northern lights auto is like the lowest odor strain

Give them time and they should start to reek......theirs still a way to go yet before their finished......besides they say a happy plant should have less ad a reek to it.....not sure I agree with that one though.....

About how many weeks do you think until I reach the harvest window? I germinated around the first week of March so it's a little over 3 months outside

Varies by strain, white Widdow my last grow had almost no odor, but was kick ass. Bruce Banner #3 now growing, even clones are super dank smell. Don't sweat it :~}

I honestly don't know, could it come down to strain? Because I had 2 in seperate locations and they both had 3 fingered leaves but they were both getting different amounts of sunlight. And they were both bagseed

Generally about 3 months total, Strain and genetics alter that. Depends on what you want too, THC or Cbd high alter harvest times too. Color of tricomes. I usually go 50% - 75% red on most strains when I harvest

Are there anyways to check trichomes without the little microscope? Can you use like a magnifying glass or something?

Plants grown outside will flower based on the decreasing light periods that start today (first day of summer - longest daylight period of year). I have outdoor plants that are already flowering, but they are in shade most of the afternoon. From your pics, I would say you have at least 6 to 8 more weeks before these finish. Strain doesn't really matter in my book on finish times when you are outdoors, except some strains are better in lower latitudes, some better for farther north. By better I mean finish times. You want shorter finish times the farther north you are so as to avoid not finishing before the first frost in the fall, or for me, avoiding cool rains and wind that usually start sometime in September.

Yep, if your garden reeks without being disturbed then most likely your plants are stressed. Low odor is most often a sign of happy, stress free plants.

Are you sure on the 6-8 weeks? she's already more than 3 months and although you can't really see it in the picture some of the pistils are orange already
