.. looks hungry, the Chinese guy next door used urine in his garden, they peed in buckets in the house all winter apparently and then they poured all over his 150 square foot garden, then it would stink for days. Finally enough people complained and started using Miracle Grow (that's civilization for you), you could look into using urine but I don't know the mixture ratio?
-good luck
I don't think I should do that at this stage, especially with human urine having significant levels of nitrogen more than phosphorous and potassium.

Anyways I can improve bud growth?
Is 12 hours of light absolutely necessary vs 12 hours of darkness? I could never have found an answer. I understand 12 hours of darkness is necessary although I'm not certain if a few hours of darkness in addition to the 12 will be beneficial?

What do you guys think too? @Smok3yMcChok3y @Tim1987 @blake9999
I say KISS method.
18/6 veg.
12/12 flower.
In my opinion, any more dark hours during 12/12 is less light energy to photosynthesize. Less bud weight.

composted chicken manure is a great fertilizer, varies in NPK values but generally a good all purpose fertilizer.
if you keep up potting, with the fresh soil mix you got it will help, downside is you only can go so big in a pot size.
fish emulsion would be excellent too, as an island nation fish scraps should be easy to find also seaweed is full of minerals.
heck if you have the ambition and time you can probably source some great natural fertilizers.
In your research I would focus on the organic methods, these will likely be the easiest and cheapest for you to access.
if possible keep a compost pile and some worms too.
You should look into a worm bin vermicompost is amazing when done right can grow a quality crop with nothing but as long as you put the proper things into your bin.

Man I love my worm farm!
My worms live in my kitchen :bigjoint:
I just feed them my table scraps, and the odd bit of cardboard, and sand.
I give them a bit of green, then brown, bit of green, bit of brown etc.
LOVE ME WORMS

Love your thinking dude. I just might try the kelp, and barley. Especially the barley.
Funnily enough, my worm bin is my waste disposal of pruned branches, and leaves from my plants.
I've even found overtime just putting whole scraps in the bin, to be the best way for me. Whole bruising apples, rotting bananas with the skin on. Whole lettuce. Whole pieces of cardboard etc. I've found if I blend, or chop it all up, it decomposes too fast, and my worms hate it.
Lol my worms come up to the surface and shag on the underside of the lid. Do you find this too? There are always a couple dozen having an orgy.
I've even found if I keep adding brown, I never have to give them any lime. My worms do it all themselves.

I agree very much with you. Happy worms, happy compost.

yes sir when you have your bin on point you can make more castings the you can use it’s my primary fertilizer for everything my vegetables cannabis indoor and out house plants my compost pile is still in use but my worm bin has definitely taken over i can compost most any scraps or nuets In weeks instead of months you can add in all kinds of dry amendments with kitchen scraps according to what the plants might need and have them ready in 2 weeks. I find em crawling all over around my bin on the floor and in grow room have a couple trying to escape daily.

Just make sure what you put in isn’t to hot or in excess with a good bit of variety and watch to see what they like and what they do not adjust accordingly. Basically what we are saying though is worms are dope

you should look into no till they have a few very good forums on it here it will give you a better understanding of everything that’s going on with your girls and while it may seem complicated at first it’s easier cheaper and stealthier aswell can grow a crop with very few inputs mostly just water and in my opinion produces the best product. Also are you spraying your pant with sea weed in flower I would recommend against that unless you like seaweed flavored weed.

I know this sounds gross but it's been used throughout history.

Mix one part urine to nine parts water. It's a good veg nuts. Plenty of nitrogen.

If you look at the nitrogen listed on a lot of nutes urea is common. Urea is found in urine.

It's safe and wort hurt them. Mix weak though. The ratio listed.

Urine works just fine. I just can't get pass the "Ick" factor. I'll stick with calcium nitrate for my nitrogen source. Urine works but not for me. Yuck.

I must say, the toxins in urine, is quite undesirable too.
Just look at the modern diet. Sodium, and chemicals galore.
I piss on the odd tree outside. That's about it for me.

It definitely works but nitrogen is like the easiest input to find so many choices other then piss

Sure.

Thing is it's not unsanitary. It's sterile and won't hurt a thing. It's only a mind thing.

Human waste has been used throughout history as fertilizer. You would be surprised at how much solid human waste in America is used on farms. I'm fine with it as long as it's fine right. The only thing that concerns me is medicines and other chemicals people put in their bodies.

I wasn't saying use it all the time. I don't use it. Dude acted like he had nothing to use. There would be nothing wrong with using it once or twice until proper amendments are sourced.
