As I said though, mixing ec levels with different plants is difficult. Need a split res if growing different crops in my opinion.

electricity runs the equivalent of 43 cents kwh here,which i guess explains why our weed prices here are higher as well (UK), but it does mean growing anything except weed and money trees indoors would make you bankrupt pretty quick

but hey put this on the north side of your house, make it a little insulated and put an exhaust going from the greenhouse into your home, to enrich the oxygen levels, and give you that greenhouse-after rain feel. you could also make a seperate vent for the summer and stuff like that. Just wannted to give u a lil insight! im sure theres nothing better than cheap gardening. Imagine this with a little bit of support lights? dont be afraid to go out into the open now that things are legal!

also check out window farming they know how to make each plant benifit eachother with the "EC" levels. Look at the order they put the plants on their window farms. Ive been to your part of the woods, and everything is expensive to that scale, not just electricity. If you ate 1/2 pound of tomatoes a day and it cost you say $5 a lb in the UK for tomatoes. You could easily get that under a 400w. Even at .43 cents a KWH you would still only be at $70-80 a month with all the equipment running and the nutes. You figure you break even at that point. That wouldn't be considering using the heat of the light to heat your house in the winter which would probably save you 1/4 of that give or take. If you throw some lettuce off to the sides or some herbs.

If you like tomatoes, I am pretty sure you can get more than a pound a week off a 400w. It isn't marijuana It keeps producing every day for years depending on the variety. The flavor is much better than the kind at the store since they aren't grown to taste good.
