I am wondering if it has anything to do with the government shut down, customs offices would be closed during this time I believe and that is right in the midst of where I placed my order. The address is right, sannie said he has faith that it will arrive so I have faith.

Fuck, I am still waiting for my shipment to arrive from october 9th and was going to place a follow up order when I knew they would actually get to me. the track n trace on mine doesn't work so I don't know where the hell my package is :(.
Contact him directly, I have had orders to US take several weeks in the past. The online track and trace is worthless, always has been b/c it wasn't intended to track packages but rather confirm deliveries.

I think Sannie may be meeting with Azarius shop next week, not Hemp depot, I don't think Azarius ship's bean's to the U.S.

I really dread the idea of a middle man rather than dealing with him himself. Anytime a middleman gets involved in anything...you know the rest.
On the other hand, if it becomes the only way to get Sannies gear here in the states I guess I'll definitely deal wit' it.
The idea of not being able to get them at all is unacceptable

you can still mail cash and go through sannie and their website from what I read.
Thats probably what I would do if everything remains the same going forward. I have a feeling tho that by the next time I need beans that may have changed by then. Some scammers sure to fuck it up for Sannie by giving him shit and he doesnt like hassles and from all I've read about him, he's a good natured guy.

Just wanted to update you guys on my situation, Sannie has received the package back for some reason and is going to ship it again. I offered to pay for shipping and he hasn't responded yet but I am sure he will be alright with shipping it again.

he's had this happen a few years ago..
imo, what happens is that the cc processor finds out he's selling cannabis seeds, and they revoke his processing abilities.. this i why a lot of smaller banks you'll notice that they don't accept cc's.. they're not trying to be dicks, it's the simple fact that cannabis business is pretty much considered the drug trade, and no cc processing co is willing to process cards for the drug trade..
when he did start processing cards again, you notice that it went through some shop, it was sannies, but it wasn't sannies seed shop if you ever noticed.. this is how he was getting around it for this long.. looks like the processing co. caught on again and put an end to it.. doesn't mean it's the eqnd of the world as there's always a chance that he will find another co. to do his processing.. it's not easy finding a new co. from what i've seen though, so it could take some time.. i forget how long he wasn't accepting them the last time..

and lastly, if you want to cut out scammers, simply require every order to be sent traced, that way someone just can't say the money showed up when the tracking says it hasn't... really is that easy.. if tracking says it never showed up, you don't mail out the beans, no confrontation required..

I contacted my local ups store about sending a letter to amsterdam that would have tracking. They said it would be around $25. A regular letter with a global stamp (no tracking) is $1.10. I won't pay $25 to send a letter there. If he required that my letter to him be tracked that would be a deal breaker for me.

Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, the seeds are very reasonably priced as is. You also get freebies in every order so you could consider the freebies the 25$ expense. Or you could just add it to the overall price and it still isn't that bad. Sannie is a good guy with amazing service and genetics he wants to share with the world.

Coming soon to a seed depot near you.
And yes, HOLY FUCKING HELL IT IS EXPENSIVE TO MAIL SHIT TO EUROPE FROM THE US.
If you have never done this before, it is a mind-wrecking kind of sticker shock. If you really want to flip out, ask for express guaranteed delivery. I have had to pay via mail for a couple of seed auctions I have one, and shipping a greeting card full of money to the UK from here cost me ~$25 just to have tracking, which doesn't even track it outside of the United States.

Seriously, other countries can track your package all over the US, but we can't do the same. This is what happens when you create a hideous chimeric entity that has to abide by all the rules of a government agency, without the 'unconditional supply of tax revenue' that allows abominations like the DMV or TSA to flourish. The USPS literally has all the worst aspects of being either a corporation or a government agency and the benefits of neither; and then it has to compete with private sector companies like FedEx and UPS that, because they do not have an endless amount of government mandated bureaucracy to deal with, absolutely crush the USPS in terms of services offered; at the same time using the USPS's necessarily bloated pricing to fix their prices. {stop and think for a moment about what your UPS or FedEx package might cost you if either company was forced to have the potential capability (that is to deliver mail to nearly every single person in the united states) on a daily basis}.
I think I got a little off track there. But yeah, this is why I really try to avoid cash-in-mail only places.

My credit card / debit card was cancelled after my last order with Sannie. They did issue me a new one and said that the old one was compromised. I didn't want to do too much investigating since I live where I do. I received my packages and the authorities were not in the middle of it. Maybe it was just a coincidence but as we all are having issues with seed banks I think there may have been something to it.

I trust Sannie and will have no problems sending cash.

I have, and will mail cash to Canada...but not across the pond to Europe.

That's just too many hands on an envelope containing currency for my comfort level.

I'll have to double check, but pretty sure he takes Int. money orders...and since his prices are more than reasonable I have no problem with added delivery fees etc.

:peace:

I was just saying I'd rather send in cash than have to be forced to pay for tracking as racer had suggested. I'll send cash. In fact it's safer IMO unless you are going to use a card with a low available credit, which is what I do now. I trust sannie but it's the middlemen at the banks oversea's that steal your cc number when they're doing the currency conversion. I've had my cc number comprimised twice buying seeds oversea's. Once at the tude and once with sannies. Both times the card company caught it. It's always sage that it happens with. Sage sucks.

Ahhh that makes a lot of sense, how horrible. You buy a product and then the middleman uses your card to buy his :(

well i mailed cash to sannies today. it was a whopping $1.10 in postage so not expensive at all. thankfully right now i can afford to lose the 100 if it doesnt make it - - but i have confidence that ill see beans in a few weeks.

You can get insurance on packages you send. They don't ask questions. If you have to send cash, that's what I'd do. It costs an extra 10-20 bucks to get over 1000 dollars worth of insurance, at least in Canada on non international. I doubt it costs a lot more on international. TSD is gonna be carrying his beans anyway though.
