For me I grow perpetual so starting a few plants is something I would be doing anyway.
This will get me to up my game in veg where I sometimes don't give the plants the attention they need in the early stages.

Most play for the knowledge and enjoyment not for the prizes.
There are about 15 sponsors contributing with 3 places winning so I think 1st place will get more than a DG starter kit.

Agreed, make it something we really WANT! Toss us a bad ass LED light or a nice CMH. Shit I may even bother sprouting a seed for that and I haven't done a bean since 2004.

There is 2 cmh fixtures in the prize pot and a amare led not sure the quality of this product tho there is 5k in prizes split.3 Ways

I wouldn't have any interest in anything but a light, I did also see a Hydrofarm light in the list too. So thats cool. Would kinda suck to win some dyna grow schwag lol I guess I could give it to a homeless guy.
