It begins.

I know I mentioned some new strains, but those seeds haven't arrived yet and I am really fucking itching to grow. By the time the new seeds come I will have a new cabinet built and grow em in there. I will start a separate thread for my raspberry cough <3

Lookin good. Saw your other blue mystic auto grow and it was awesome. I currently have a few grows under way, tryin out a couple different grow styles. A PC stealth box with CFLs, and a ScrOG with CFLs. About to start a DWC. :D

But i am definitely subbed for this one. I'm interested to see how an Auto does under CFLs. I have a Pyramid Auto Purple seed, as well as a Blue Mystic seed just waiting to grow.

Day 4
So looking like #1 is the closest to ruderalis of all 5 of my blue mystic seeds(refer to my first grow). Hard to tell from these photos, they are just about identical except #2 is twice the size of #1.

I removed my cabinet top so the new light would fit. Making some cuts in the old lid and adding a bit of a hinged top over that soon, you will see what I mean when I finish putting it together XD((waiting to get paid so I can go buy some lumber))

Day 5

By the way, I've had the lights on 24/0 to start ONLY BECAUSE my timer was showing clear signs of wear and I didn't want to have a malfunction. Switching to 18/6 once I snag a new one.

Day 7!

You can really see the different phenotypes coming out.

Before anyone asks....the light is a 125 watt CFL with a reflective hood. Purchased light+hood on Amazon for 45$~(includes shipping)

Day 10!

#1 is really showing as a runt, I expected poor performance from this seed because I tried germing it 2 months ago with no luck, but a second attempt it did. Its an old seed, and I hope it doesnt herm XD

#2 is moving right along nicely.

Day 11

Wow time is just flying by, yesterday I tried some light veg nutes. #1 isn't liking it(notice the slight yellowing). It will recover soon :P

just a quick question, about how far away are your light from the tops of your plants?
Im sure they are on some sort of system that you can move up and down etc.
the reason i ask (and i dunno your intentions) is that you mainly have horizontal growth which isnt a bad thing at all but ive found that making your plant 'work for the light' encourages stronger stems. obviously :p, but all the same. just a thought. :)

Well right now I have the pot on a box to be about 8 inches from the light, I've been super busy with work and havent had the time to drill my ghetto rig for the raising/lowering mechanism. Playing with the stem does make it stronger, and I will be doing a bit of that with #2 starting tonight when I get home from work, this sucker is exploding with growth.

Yeah taking photos daily really helps me learn how the plant likes to be watered. Gives me a chance to look at them closely so I can see any issues before they become unmanageable.

The 120watt bulb emits around 7k lumens according to literature with the bulb.
