I wouldnt go for it... but if they are cheap then yh ...
Cannabis is best grown with many different spectrums
but it might be best to buy some different spectrums like blue, red,&purple

The Red and Blue lamps DO have a Kelvin colour specification, but the PURple™ does not.
The Kelvin color simply describes to which temperature a block of Carbon must be heated in order to match the apparent colour of the lamp.
It does not measure the Quantity OR Quality of the light for growing plants.
PURple™ does not appear in the Kelvin scale as it is a mix of TWO colours

Light energy in this range is measured as P.A.R. - Photosynthetically Active Radiation.
Plants look green because they reflect most green light, and absorb most red and blue.
Plants therefore respond more to light from the RED and BLUE ends of the plant action spectrum.
PURple lamps have this ideal spectrum shaped the way plants "see" the light. (white curve) ( a little spike of green is left to allow US to see plants lit by PURple)

they are all the same price. they do blue(6300k), red(2700k) and purple (25,000k)

all of these @ 125w are £15 per lamp.

the 200w are £25 and are still self ballasted.

there was a link to the usa site somewhere on here. ill find it for u

No shop there... ??

The link is dead and the main site stuff-u-like.co.uk reads that it is a placeholder site... =[

I think i might ask my local store if they can get these... ??

I've been checking out these Nlites especially the purple ones, for a while and it seems really strange that they seem to be the only company making purple grow lights and also that they are half the price of other CFLs yet they are nearly impossible to buy. The stuff you like link from a few posts up used to work but seems to have gone dead this wkend sometime.

The plot thickens..........................................................................................

I would be really interested to hear from any1 that has 1 of these lights or can show me a link to buy 1.

usa doesnt sell them.

i did try to buy some purple ones but they were out of stock.

i bet they would be worth it.

u could buy say, 1 purple, 1 blue an 1 red. keep the purple going all the time and use a blue for veg then swap the blue for the red.

purple & blue = veg
purple & red = flower

never seen/read any1 with these lights though. you could check out their distributors and ring them up an ask if they have any.

i did, but they company who was closest to me said they are only open for trade/business not public.
