Nlite PURple CFLs

I posted this in the grow room forum but i figured it would prob fit better under this topic. sorry for double posting.

I was just reading a post about lighting and someone mentioned these PURple CFLs? has anyone used these? if so do they work well and what color did u get? purple?

I used one, different brand though man. Used it for two weeks or so of vegging, actually i used two different ones because the electrics in both went.
I was up to 7 fingered leaves, but i couldnt replace the second faulty one with a purple light, so i ended up getting a 2700k light instead. All they had in the shop and i know folk who've grown only under 2700k.

Still I think it was beneficial, the spread spectrum is an interesting idea, at very least throwing a 125 watt one into the mix if you had some cash lying around wouldn't be a bad idea! I would like to get some blue light into my box if the little one doesn't react well to the new light, but so far (about 8 hours) she seems to like it fine!

Ancient Chinese Secret. Use sparingly during flower and watch the resin glands go all lov-er-ly.

agreed when i get some more money i think ima get some high wattage bulbs and take some of them out so i dont have to have some many but with only 23 watt bulbs i want to get as much light as possible so im using alot. plus i got alot of area to cover and lots of diferent plants. so well see how it goes this is my first grow and its goin pretty good id say. but iv got a long way 2 go.
