Nitrogen problem

My older leaves are getting pail and are slowly dying off and spreading to the younger leaves :\

I've flushed out the solution and have given it just water to try to turn it back green and release any nutrient clog-gage. However, I can't seem to keep the plants healthy.. this has happened before and has been an on going problem since the start.

The plants are about 14inchs tall and have only a few sets of leaves left.. i've cut off all the older dead ones...

what should I do?
I've tried adding less nutrients but i'm really only adding 1/3 the recommended amount, so less then 2.5ml in a liter of water, which makes me wonder if the plants are getting enough of it's (p) and (k) elements?

Kind of hard to know what your problem is to be honest - it could be one of many and without more information it's impossible to say. One things for sure - don't flush them - it's a nutrient deficiency and not toxicity - all you're doing is leaching out what nutrients are in the soil by flushing.

How long have those plants been in those pots? Is it time to repot? What water are you using? How are you watering? What nutrients are you using? Is it in flower or veg?
