nitrogen problem !! help!!

yeah i lst that one and i just topped the soil up yesterday and yes there is drainage holes in these i have a bunch in the bottom and yeah i no they are bad for roots my brother started them and fucked up so i've been nursing them back to health

ps i toped up the soil because i put a stronger fan on them and i wanted that extra inch to keep them a litting more stable. just saying aha

and i'm using 5 2700k cfls and 3 6500k cfls there all hung 2-4 inches away the one thats lst is in its own computer grow box and it has 1 of each on it(2700k and a 6500k)

Look at the NEW growth. What was hurt was hurt. Your latest growth tells you what you did right or wrong within the last 24 hours

so should i cut the yellow leaves off? there only bottom fan leaves anyway there gonna get trimmed when i go to flowering anyway

No, when your plant is done with the leafs, it will shed them off. Don't cut leafs ever. Photosynthesis is my reason for that... every leaf is vital to your plants overall success. Even the decrepit yellow ones

I wish you would not 'trim' any leafs ever. That is not correct. Look at Uncle Bens topping technique. I don't like Uncle Ben but he is a helluva good grower

Every leaf is very important to your over all grow all the way through harvest. Don't cut leafs until you are trimming ,.

Leafs do not 'shade' your buds. In fact, they allow light to go through for the lower leafs. The plant does not hurt itself... just environment

Leaves produce bud. More leaves = More bud. Bud sites don't need light. Leaves do. Can cut of dead growth ONLY if you want.

They look fine. New growth looks nice and green. Now just get those clear pots out of there and sit back and watch them grow.

yeah i'm going to buy new pots and i'm going to put a fish netting over the plants with dowels holding it on the 4 sides to try and squat the plants some more and i might top them again

hey i bought new pots and the roots are nice and white and thick i've got them transplanted and the root balls all stayed input for the most part if a few broke off will it recover well from that?

NITROGEN (N)
Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week.
PHOSPHORUS (P)
Slow or stunted growth, red stems. Smaller leaves that are dark green. Lower leaves yellow and die. Add chemical fertilizer containing P. Affected leaves will not show recovery but new growth will apear normal.
POTASSIUM (K)
Affected plants are usually tallest and appear to be most vigorous. Necrotic spots form on lower leaves. Red stems. Leaves appear pale or yellow. Add chemical fertilizer containing K.
CALCIUM (Ca)
Lack of calcium in the soil results in the soil becoming too acid. This leads to Mg or Fe deficiency or very slow stunted growth. Treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of dolomatic lime per quart of water until condition improves.
SULFER (S)
Plants suffering from S definciencies exhibit yellowing of new growth. Mix one tablespoon of Epsom salts per gallon of water until condition improves.
MAGNESIUM (Mg)
Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.
IRON (Fe)
Leaves on growing shoots turn pale and veins remain dark green. pH imbalances make iron insoluble. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Fe or rusty water.
MANGANESE (Mn)
Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn.
BORON (B)
Growing shoots turn grey or die. Growing shoots appear burnt. Treat with one teaspoon of Boric acid (sold as eyewash) per gallon of water.
MOLYBDENUM (Mb)
Yellowing of middle leaves. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Mb.
ZINC (Zn)
White areas form at leaf tips and between veins. Occurs in alkaline soils. Zn deficiency can be treated by burying galvanized nails in the soil. Chemical fertilizer containing Zn can also be used.
OVER FERTILIZATION
Causes leaf tips to appear yellow or burnt. To correct soil should be flushed with three gallons of water per one gallon of soil.

this root ball lost a quite a bit of roots when i turned it over it still has 2 hand fulls of roots attached so i'm hoping it doesnt die on me, its my big plant

all in there new pots i guess a few days will tell if the roots got hurt or not

Over watering makes your roots go to the bottom and not spread around the pot as they should be (as i can see in the root picture). That'll cause more probs then you think. Also it might be wise to do a lot more research instead of just asking questions. Google is your friend, "marijuana plant problems" you would get pages and pages of links with very good information, pictures, videos. Your not learning from us telling you your putting tape over a bigger problem doing this.. Which is gonna cause you to come back in a few days or a week with more problems.

I suggest transplant, dont worry any deficiencies you think you might have right now. Transplant first wait a week. Things will be better but research man...

i want to grow but when i google shit everyone has a different opipion and theres different websights that i gotta make accounts to see and its just as easy to ask experts such as your self and get a good reply like you gave and i dont have to wonder if what i'm doing is right, i no they were over water before i got them i only water once maybe twice a week i just watered them after i did the transplant with 7ph water and had about 10% run off so its good and wet for the roots to regenerate, but i do understad what you said and i'm not gonna take it like a prick and get mad i just joined this forum to ask question and share experiences, and i'm pretty sure thats what its all about!
