Nitrogen deficiency?

I just transplanted from 1 gal to 2 and 3 gals 70/30 coco perlite yesterday. I have a few more once the bags come. But before i flip to flower i want to make sure everything is ok. They went from foxfarm ocean forest, top dressed 444 down to earth 2 weeks ago in 1 gal. I'm debating on continuing top dress or just doing dyna gro line. This is my 2nd grow and 1st time in coco. I notice they aren't as green as i think they should be. Im willing to go synthetic if i can fix problems faster. Any idea what deficiency this may be? My 1st run was a roller-coaster trying to fix problems in soil. 20220212_135044.jpg20220216_204402.jpg

Yep. They need food. Coco has no nutes and your soil is likely depleted on those larger plants.
Options as I see them,
1. treat it as soil, hope for the best, expect the worst.
2. treat it like coco drain to waste. Slightly better option imo, but expect the worst.
3. pull that transplanted soil out and put them in 2 and 3 gallon pots of fresh FFOF. Probably your best option towards a healthy harvest.
Options 1 and 2 become a crap shoot deciphering issues due to differences between coco and soil. Not saying they won't work but it'll be ugly.
Next grow, go with coco from seed. :bigjoint:

What if i just amend the coco with a 444? I mean at this point. I'll just use my dyna gro nutes all the way through flower.

I've no personal experience with that but I haven't seen many make it work with coco. You have 1/2-1/3 soil per pot though so you may fare better.

Look into Real Growers Grow Dots it was designed for mixing into coco and just watering.
Oh yeah from Thedudegrows, honestly if i had time. I have some dr.earth veg and flower. At this point, im turning this in to an experiment. I'm amending half with the dr.earth, which has all the micro organisms and innoculants. I'll just water, recharge, and teas. Then I'll try the synthetic on the other half. Wish me luck!

Sounds like a fun time. Good luck and keep in touch if you can I'm stoked about the grow dots.
