Nitrogen Deficiency? Something else? Nothing? AIDS?

Hey, guys, went and looked at my plant today for the first time in two days and noticed some discoloring of the leaves. I did a little research on here and the best answer I can come up with is nitrogen deficiency.

When i originally planted the plant, I dug a hole about two feet deep, and filled it with a mixture 21-7-14 potting mix, and planted my girl in that. That was about 7 weeks ago and the plant has been thriving since then. The only thing I've been doing is watering the plant, and occasionally pissing around it (trying to keep deer and other animals away.. not sure if that really works but thus far nothing has fucked with it).

I'm not trying to grow the best quality weed in the world. This grow was more of an experiment; it's basically just a test run for next year with the goal of getting some decent smokable weed that I plan to keep for myself. If I'm successful in that goal, next year I will really hunker down and try to get the best shit possible. This year I was really interested in seeing how the plant would grow left alone to nature's devices (except for the watering of course).

Anyways, I would sure love some advice on what I should do at this point. Please don't just say, add nitrogen, because obviously I could have figured that out myself. Instead I'm interested in what are good sources of nitrogen. In other words, are there common things around my house that I could use? I also have the funds to buy nutrients, so any specific brand recommendations would be appreciated. And if my problem isn't nitrogen deficiency, then what the hell is wrong with it and what should I do? Thanks for all the help, folks!

Note: if you need a closer look at the leaves, you can zoom in quite a bit by clicking on the enlarged thumbnails.

Doesn't look that bad. I like the General Organics line. I grow inside with soil. Blood meal has time release nitrogen.

Add some nitr (wow. Lightning from blue sky. Cool. Stings a bit though) actually they look pretty good, but if it's the lighter green in the new growth that's bugging you, I'd try some magnesium. Epsom salt is cheap and available at like Walgreens. It's 10% Mg, so four grams per gallon will give you a good 100ppm Mg drench. Soil though; foliar not recommended. ... It can't hurt! cn

Thanks for the helpful responses, guys. I'm just gonna let it be for a few days and see how it looks.

I'm just a little paranoid because this is my only plant and I wanted to catch the problem early if there was one.

Are you talking about the middle part of the plants being yellow? The tops? That's just because of the difference in day and night temperatures. Your plants look great though. Know what the strain is, or just bagseed? What state are you in?

Lolz I hear ya, I'm kinda freakin out myself cause more and more fan leaves on my plant r dying. Any pics I've posted ppl say it looks fine, and I guess it does except 4 the fan leaves dying, but I guess as long as the buds on the stem aren't yellowing and dying I shouldn't worry I guess. Hey I got it, like that post sum dude started awhile back about making an auto-topping strain, maybe I have created an auto-trimming strain, shit I'll make billions a strain 4 stoners that they don't have to trim.

nothing to worry about. only different color no not discoloration but different color you refer to is the new growth. once it hits a surge point especially after transplaning the new growth will grow so fast it doesnt have time to become the perfect green your looking for. if still unsure just steadily increase the amount of nitrogen at each feeding and see if it is or not. you caught it early if it is a problem so it wouldnt be anything to scream about at night.
