ok so im new on here w/ no rep points and most people are gonna think im full of shit but here it goes.
my cousin, not just some guy i know, bought beans from nirvana. Auroura to be exact. one of those plants ended up being this shitty, trich-less, gross, lemon wax smelling plant. it look and smelled nothing like the rest of them. i saw and smelled for myself, not something i heard or was told. anyways, we shrugged it off because the strain is a hybrid and we figured it just showed more of one parent or something like that. no biggie!
here is where i get pissed off. in October 2010, about a year after he bought his seeds, i ordered mine. i got white rhino and papaya. i got a pack of each femmed and two packs of each in regular seeds. i am 6 weeks into flowering all the plants that were seeds. no clones. and guess what plants have returned!!!! yes!!! i have 3 of those shitty ass lemon smelling garbage plants!!!!!! i had my cousin come look at them to see if they really were the same as his. i only seen his one time. and he confirmed they were identical. the plants are very pale green. barley have any trichs, look mostly if not full indica. dont grow dense at all. they grow tiny, fluffy, popcorn buds all over. his 1 and all 3 of mine hermmied also.
what i dont get is how can he get the exact same thing in his Auroura seeds that i did my White Rhino, when they arnt even crossed with the same strains??? i know nirvana sells cheap seeds, so u get what u pay for, but come on. thats grade A bullshit. they either are careless and mixed up seeds and thru some major coincidence we both ended up with them, or they intentionally sell crap mixed in with the good for some reason. personally, i think its a cheap femmed strain they throw in to help give their growers better luck with females in regular seed packs. especially if u only buy one pack of beans. kinda guarenteeing them a female or 2. this is only my opinion and its brought on my the 100% hermmied rate of the Lemon Pledge plants as we have come to dubb them.
i hope many others have had better luck with nirvana. i would like to hear if anyone else has found any of these plants in their nirvana beans. as for me, i will never order from them again. attitude seeds, you can thank Nirvana. you now own my business.
