You must mean 10gal, because my 2 coolers are 12gal and bigger than yours.
About 3 weeks ago I just harvested 3 JillyBeans for 5.2 DRY OUNCES from 1 cooler doing 12/12 FROM SEED, that started in August !!
I have 3 Elite Ultimate ChemDawg 08's at 6.5 weeks Bloom in the 2nd cooler now.
Will be doing a C99 SCROG next with both coolers under 1 net !

Glad to see someone else rock the mogul socket CFL's too !
Been doing it that way for a few years now myself.
I have 4 Sunleaves. 2 - 2700K's and 2 - 6500K's
I only use the 6500K's when I veg too.
Nothing does better from my experience.
I add them in bloom sometimes, for a mixed spectrum.
Give that some though too.

The 100g+ is my air pumps not the coolers... they are 8 & 10g but I run with about 12g of solution at a time. I'll definitely have to check the Cooler Club WTF how'd I miss that?!

Still truckin' along. I trimmed a couple of the lower leaves to clean them up a bit and stop some of the smothering. Going to be flowering them soon I think.

The soil NL girl is coming along well also. Everyone is going to begin 12/12 tonight. I decided against the extended dark period since I'm not in a rush anyways. Don't think I'm going to LST or top this one as she should stay pretty small on her own with a early 12/12 on an indica but we'll see.

Thanks man! I haven't even been able to look at them at all the past two days since I've been working out of town. I'm off tomorrow so hopefully everything looks well in the morning when the lights kick on. I'll throw up some new pics tomorrow 4 sure of the girls whether what I find is good or bad lol

i had a question about your lighting. i'm planning on a CFL grow and was interested in using some high watt bulbs. only thing is i don't know anything about what a mogul base really is and if i could just screw it in to a regular socket or if i would need special hardware to run them. could you give me any info on the matter?

The mogul sockets are bigger and require a specific adapter if you want to use them in a standard (medium) socket. Make sure whatever you use though is rated for the wattage your using. I bought a ceramic mogul socket/plug/cord for $17 at my hydro store. Never tried the adapters myself but I know they are out there.

Soil girl is still doing well, the 12/12 hasn't seemed to slow her down much.



Considering I trimmed what I thought was a lot of undergrowth they are still bushing out a ton. Had I known how wide they'd get I may have not bothered LSTin them since I have a decent height I can go. Ohh well at least I still have a fairly even canopy even though I didn't scrog.

Going to be flushing them today and swapping to 50/50 bloom/veg nutes. My other two bulbs should be arriving as well so I'll have some stuff to play with today!

Nice grow man! I grew Nirvana NL outdoor this summer and was pleased with the results. Nothing spectacular (personally think it is more of an indoor strain than outdoor) but I'm looking forward to growing it again indoors. I only grew one plant, but they are correct, it had ZERO odor. Even after curing for about a month it still only has a suble, kind of sweet smell, but don't let the lack of smell fool you, it is a pretty potent strain. I also noticed that it didn't need nearly as much nutes as my other plants I grew this summer. Mine really took well to topping and LST too. Nirvana advertises the flowering time as 7-9 weeks, but my plant went the full 9 weeks. Probably could have went 10 but I had to pick it due to mold. Anyway, thought I'd give you a heads up on what I learned during my grow. IMO you made a good choice with the NL, although that's the only Nirvana strain I've grown so I don't have anything to compare it too. I'm gonna pull up a seat if you don't mind. Interesting to see how the soil turns out compared to the hydro. Good luck!

OK so the girls showed some deficiency because Im a puss and wouldn't up the PPMs to the 700-1000 they should be at when entering bloom around 4 weeks. They've been a steady 450 for a while so doing this rez change I just added more cal-mag & tiger bloom to hit about 720ppm. We'll see how they respond tomorrow. I'll be coming home with plenty of RO water just incase!

BTW my two bulbs came from 1000bulbs.com and both were busted... Looked like my fckn fed-ex guy threw the box over my gate LoL!
They are going to be perfect though in the two deep reflectors I have. Should be fine w/o them for another week or so but they are starting to outgrow the single big cfl so I may just buy a cheapo 42w to throw in until they arrive (again).

But I called 1000bulbs and they are the shit! Sending my replacements out tomorrow!! I highly recommend them! (even though some extra packing peanuts could've possibly saved them...)

Looks like the def issues have resolved by upping the PPMs and using a bit more cal-mag in my RO water. Watchin them close now but new growth is looking much better now. Adding some additional side lighting (bought a 42w 2700k until my two 105w bulbs get here again)

Can't wait to see some pistils poppin' in the next week! I was goinig to trim some more undergrowth but figured fck it, with as much as I've been altering lately I don't want to induce any more stress when starting 12/12 so I'll just let it ride and hope for some tasty popcorn buds down low. =)





The FFOF is impressing me so far on the soil girl.

We're both growing Nirvana's NL. And we started around the same time it seems, my seeds sprouted on the 23rd of October, it looks like urs was probably around that time. But my growth seems nowhere near as extensive as yours. Too many variables to take into account, but just making note of it.

For sure bro! Thanks for popping in! My hydro girls germed on 10/10 but the soil girl wasn't germed until the 27th so were definitely close!

Were your Femd Nirvana NL seeds tiny as hell? Mine seriously were the smallest seeds I've germed. Half the size of most. Germ rate was awesome though and so far so good!
