Nirvana Gelato DIY RDWC SCRoG

Had first overflow in the new setup. Think I might need bigger pots for the size plants I grow. The roots were like a concrete block last time when I pulled them. Return hoses are all clear but just too much root mass to empty that volume of water. Plumbed in a tap for now so I can regulate the flow out of the big pump.

Tap on the pump is doing the trick so far. Put it in on a 15 min on/off timer and no more overflows. Not a big deal in this style of system since it’s always got soup in the buckets and the pump is just swapping it out from the res. They seem happy enough for 2 weeks of 12/12. Just swapped over to flower nutes

Looking good! You still enjoying the lights?

First full week of flower done. Prob should’ve flipped them a bit earlier but hopefully stretch is almost done. Green crack is stacking nicely

The critical jack is a real stretcher, have been moving the lights up 3-4” a day! Will definitely flip earlier and train this one into the scrog longer next time

The critical jack is a weapon. You can see the tape from many attempts to bend it back but it won’t have it, even broke my scrog. Guess we’ll see how these lights go for penetration

Week 2 of flower done. That critical jack is a big stretchy monster but the green crack is much better behaved. Humidity improved a bit after clearing out more of the under growth. Also rigged up another small dehumidifier blowing into the intake. Sitting around 50% now which I’m less stressed about. RH outside still in the 90s

The green crack is still going good too, apart from eating the dehumidifier
