Nihilism, the consequence of Atheism

What constitutes "Serious religious study"? Is there a series of courses?
...probably 7 courses, yes. You are the book. And, the universities are not mundane. You can take this back to shamanism, if you'd like to. They were priests, mediators, etc. Take it back to Sumeria and how they inscribed 'words' into 'clay'. Do you see the commonality? The middle - this all describes being a link between the heavens and the earth - without the grandiose features of mental illness *ahem*.

If a person were to start scientific studies, would they start at the top? Do they know it all first? Seems to me they learn first, work their way up.

Okay, I am not at all reading this and getting any sense out of it. Am I just too high?

From my perspective, the meaning/purpose of life, lies within itself.

:peace::leaf:
correct emotionless or not. living is life, one chance, even those of us who retain no emotions, moral or conscious value our experience(living) above all other things. we enjoy hate love happiness sadness and pain, all equaly and in different ways if we did not we would not have these things in our mind/body

The reason for existence is survival. I believe nihilism will increase in times when survival is assured (currently, for example) .

Why look out for the common man when there are 7 billion of us to ignore? ;-)

...dunno :) I have to admit that I am used to hearing that my posts are difficult to understand. I think the reason is that I am alluding to something most of the time, and not being specific. There were 3 key things I wrote in that last post. 1 - Sumeria 2 - 7 courses 3 - priests and mediators.

To be more specific I was talking about ziggurats. But as usual, the rest is up to you.

So I think all atheists will eventually become nihilists. If they don't know it then they just haven't been introduced fairly to what nihilism is and/or haven't thought about it.
So my question is this; Is an atheist who is yet to embrace nihilism an incomplete atheist?
