Night time Rh?

So i got these autopots(smartpot) a while ago and now that the summer is not as hot and dry anymore, its starting to get bit more humid during night than it used to.

Currently in the tent is 20C 45RH(about 4 hours of night left for today), but when i woke up not long ago it was 50RH. I dont have monitors to see how it has fluctuated over night. I just cleared the max values from my temp/rh meter, so i can check tomorrow what have been the max values, but those might not tell me much if there is a short RH spike after lights go off and if it settles fast enough or something..

How much is too much RH at night if temps are around 18-20C? Got one plant at 7 weeks in 12/12, so humidity is starting to become more important, especially since buds seem pretty tight. But the plant does have a good aeration downstairs, well trimmed there and fan blowing underside and there are not many leafs that would overlap and touch etc, but i have found in other plant that there has been some moisture coming to leafs even during the day if two leafs are overlapping and touching.

Does this warrant getting a dehumidifier, or am i on safe levels still?

You're safe in that zone.

Are you running exhaust? I wouldn’t worry unless RH went over 60-65% you can always dial in an exhaust to suck the excess humidity out for you. Quite a few things u can do other than use a dehumidifier.

Yea i have a 380m3/h inline fan as exhaust with carbon filter, which takes about half of that away and only one 90 degree bend that is not a very steep one, which takes a bit off, but not too much. Air is sucked from front of tent and exhausted to back. Front and back are separated from ground to ceiling and wall to wall, not full air proof(with few inches air gap on one wall), enough to not leak light or have air change too much in between them and window open behind the tent, new air ofc mostly coming from the room, which gets its air from normal house air contitioning

If you're hovering between 50-60% I would just kick back and not worry over it. She'll be fine, but if you're looking for the best you can get.. maybe do a little research on tests that have been done using different RH and temp ranges.

It's not really humidity that matters but wether it condenses on your buds, with airflow that's even harder to do but the principle of air, temperature and water are highlighted in this easy to understand link above. Saying don't go over 55% has little bearing on water condensing out and causing mold.

Thanks. Yea i have pretty optimal temp and humidity during day currently without using any environmental control. I was just worried about night time RH in case it could cause too much moisture to come during night and potentially cause some rotting, also was wondering about when to start worrying if it keeps raising, but i guess ill try to look that it doesent go over 65%, ideally not over 60%.

I dont have a speed control on the inline fan and its just running full power all the time and i kinda need it like that because of reasons.

If it's in a tent you can always crack open the zipper open on the tent to let more outside air in. I have seen my RH rise to 80%, but it was after watering and then zipping her up in the closed tent with the fan on low.. was probably like that for about 30 mins. I took the plant out of the tent and blew a fan on Hi into the tent to remove all the air in the space and replace it. I also got to clean up a little in there with some clean rags and alcohol. lol
