nice and cheap moisture/ph meters

just for all those after a cheap basic moisture meter i found this one when i was shopping and found it to be actually a really accurate meter for the price!:hump:

I got one like that but found it to be inaccurate on the ph and slow. If you are going to grow often, I would go for a digital one.

of coarse they are not that qaccurate but for first time grower , i just thought might be of interest or those strapped for cash

i have a real good moisture reeder/indicator for FREE! I weight the babies when dry and when wet . Then based on that weight I know when to water . I also use wooden skewers for like BBQing, and I stick them into the dirt about 6 inces and then the stick shows me how wet it is and how far down. w00t! But I will be buyinbg a digital thingy when I go shopping this weekend .

your method is not a bad one to figure if it is about time to water again, but it has a problem, do you compensate the plant grow?;)
