NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

Anybody? Ordered the simple line + Olympus Up/Hades Down and Bloom Chaos. Is there any other one or two products you would recommend to add on to it? From the videos ive read it seems that Athenas Aminas and maybe Demeters Destiny would be wise to add. Demeters for the Calcium and Athenas for the well-being/health/growth of the plant?

Save your money man, if you want to go all natural then build your own soil. Turns out they're not even all organic.

Not trying to doubt your word or anything, but any proof?

Ive seen nothing but good things about the product line and I cant find anything (outside of their website and grow journals) that says anything either way about them. No offense but the only negative comments I have seen about them are the hardcore organic guys who are going to shit on anything that comes in a bottle. Ive already got my own soil together and ive already ordered the simple line so its going to get used. I simply would like to know from someone who has used the line what their opinion is.

Skip the hades down I've never had to lower my ph with this line. Athenas and demeters are a great addition to the base line. You could try aphrodities also its a great microbe food.

What of theirs is not organic? Any links or proof? I've never heard anything like that before.

A thorough search on the site will explain. Typically a product that claims to be organic should listed under certain certifications like OMRI lists. I will say that is probably the most "organic" nutrient line sold in hydro stores but the cannabis nutrient industry is fishy business. If you want to be completely organic your best bet is to build your own soil. Check out the organic forums on this site, there is a lot to take in.

So your claims are purely speculation.

No his claims aren't..organic nutes are completely carbon based where as NFTG has some mineral based nutes in in their line up , technically it's still organic but can't be certified as organic by OMRI listings . Like he said read their website... it explains it all .

I see what you guys are talking about. The can't get an omri certification because they use precipitated bone meal. Can you tell me what precipitated bone meal is? The process of it? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I learned it changes the availability of the nutrients in it but how? I don't expect you to have these answers but can't hurt to ask.

Haha! I've been digging can't come up with a process. I understand what happens when minerals precipitated in liquid but this doesn't seem the same.

Best thing I like about the line is the nice spearmint extract they use to cover up the smell haha. All jokes aside to each is own I guess but if you can dial in a nice soil with all those nice amendments(same ones used in nftg) you'll still get splendid results and save some dough also.

im actually going to be doing a combo of subcool SS and NFTG this cycle, im curious to see what happens. Next cycle im just gonna go with some coco connoisseur to see if theres any difference.

But my question is, when im feeding my girls NFTG would letting it aerate(with a stone a pump) in a 5 gallon bucket overnight do any good? Like help it dissolve into the water more or would that possibly do more bad then good?

I'm sure it won't hurt, there is a lot of particles in the solutions so a constant mix when hand watering was always necessary.

Only difference in letting it set is the nice mint smell goes away and it'll then smell like dog shit and stump water .

quick question if i flushed twice with 2 gallons of HH and 4 gallons of water and then watered with 13 gallons of water and then watered once more with 2 gallons of water over the course of 2 weeks and 3 days be enough to fully flush my plants if fed in 5 gal soil with full pro line? they never really fully faded but the stems leaf tasted fine, dank, but fine. First time i ever used the nectar

Food for thought... you'll get more usable calcium out of Olympus up than you will from Demeters Destiny... if you have both bottles, look at the friggin back of them and the calcium percentages listed on both... Make me wonder if growers are even reading their own bottles anymore...

Hello all.My first post on this site.I used the entire pro level schedule the last 2 runs.Plants looked great, the bud is really good.My problem is even though i flushed for 2 weeks,my ash wont turn grey no matter how much i blaze it.So i read that its carbon, which doesnt flush out. They where saying to back off on the nutes halfway thru flower and led the plant consume its sun leaves for food,as this will also sweeten the smoke.I am halfway thru flower with next run.So i gave a half dose(first time i deviated from schedual). Now i have tons of yellow leaves.I am guessing low nitrogen, but know you are supposed to stay away from that in flower.Could i give it a little Pegasus potion next water? Any idea's? Thanks

The calcium in demeters is unbonded calcium. Calcium naturally wants to bond with other elements. The purpose of the demeters is for the calcium to bond with the coco in your medium which will then be consumed by microbes. This releases the magnesium that coco is very rich in but not available to the plant as it is. This is their lines source of magnesium. Im using about 9 of their products in pro mix and i do wonder where people who only use the basic 4 are supposed to get their magnesium? I speculate that something else in the basic 4 produce a similar effect and maybe the demeters just expedites this process?

I'm having issue with the nftg nutrients settling at the bottom of my tank before I'm able to pump it out for hand watering. It seems the water sits on top, while 90% of the nutrients sink and settle at the bottom. Even with constant mixing. Amy input thanks. I'm sampling this line as of now because a trusted grower, swears by it and he does get the results.
