yeah man I like nectar and I've learned a lot using it but cultured biologix EON has really piqued my interest. Already love the EZ Teas.

I mean the whole fish smell thing sounds like it could happen in certain situations. I use tritons to the max and haven't noticed that at all but I also have fans and exhaust running I'm full blast 24/7. I think the trick is two to not get it anywhere else while you're watering. I've only been doing five plants or so so I'm really careful watering especially with photo Plus. Just to keep things clean and neat.
since Eon uses the same ph #s per say …. Master or finish nectar and then make a choice … I’m not here to push anyone either way , just here to help .

I have a lot more plants to play with this time I may try it. Probably get the small ones to start off with.
Awesome, I’ll check out your journals! I really only want 2 things…a nutrient line that will work with my tap water, and produce good tasting and smelling buds. I just want the best quality possible, but would prefer to use 8.4ph .5EC tap water. I was also looking at that EON line, after you mentioned it, and it looks to be on back order or out of stock everywhere…which means it’s creating a buzz….HEY! Hahaha “creating a buzz” … I swear that was a coincidence lol. I’m a poet and I just don’t know it. Anyway…I’ll do some youtubing and forum searching to learn a bit more about it. Any sacrifices in flavor or terps or overall profiles of the finished product? I am aiming for that connoisseur quality bud. We’ve all experienced it, but it’s usually very few and far between (speaking of buying not growing). Too bad there’s no new gen hippies anymore they always had the best shit back in the 90’s.
I would highly suggest….Hahahaha..SEE THAT? Man I’m on a ROLL lol. Anyway, I would suggest Lemongrass from Humboldt Seed Company. I grew it along with Pineapple Upside Down Cake my first grow a few months back. I’m a consistent daily and nightly steady smoker…but I never smoke to get retarded. I appreciate a fine smelling and tasting bud. I am always looking for a high that is good for writing music or walking the dog. Lemongrass was my least anticipated strain from the 3 I planted. Until…those buds formed. They were big, bright green, sparkly trichome covered and smelled like straight up Lemon Pledge. As for the high….if you wake n bake, trust me you’ll be baked, so go easy on the trigger with it. Can get shit done, house cleaning, dog walking, music writing etc. but it’s also good if you’re geeking out on the internet, tinkering around, or just chilling watching a good show. If you rip bongs or something it would hit like a ton of bricks and you’d be passed out on the couch with a smile on your face. it’s crazy because I have smoked this stuff every day since harvest in March, and it’s still just as potent to me as when I first started smoking it. Tastes and smells like lemon, with a slight gass to it (and I dried too quick unintentionally). I got a little over 6oz off 1 plant in my 3x3…in a 3 gallon pot lol.
I recommend it because it’s a fantastic strain. A swiss army knife too. Was the only plant that didn’t herm on me, smells awesome, is potent as F#ck, hardy resilient big fast growth, the high is awesome, and you never build a tolerance with it. I took a test bud around day 55 and it was awesome…harvested on day 65 and just as awesome, pretty big harvest window.

tim was building a bigger place to do a lot in house , that’s where the supply got low .. but luckily in my area it’s still new to growers and the local hydro shop has it in stock , but I buy the 4 lbs so I’m good for a little….
Oh god the mexican brick weed lol. Had to peel apart the dried, flat chunks. It was like breaking apart a puerh cake. Always had the same exact smell and would get tons of seeds and sticks haha. The good ol days.
Oh good idea…I’ll check out the local shop if I get into it. Does it work well with bad water? Or is that just a hurdle with any line? I think NFTG is doing pretty ok with my water.

I've heard good things about them. The reason it's difficult choosing isn't a lack of options it's too many options. I've only been growing for a few years and I've asked about breeders and genetics alot and usually get alot of different answers. I realize there's job at alot of good breeders with great strains and weed can only get so good and I think I've been trying to find the best strain in the world and there's really no such thing it's just preference.
Yeah, you need to find some good clones then. From seed can only go so far, unless you stumble upon a 1 in a million pheno like the sour diesel cut, skittlez, blueberry etc.
I’m also on a hunt for the best in the world…realizing I won’t find it in a seed pack, but rather a clone of something world class. I miss the days of real sour diesel, real strawberry cough, real skunk… these were all cuts and impossible for me to find in bag form anymore.
So really, I’m just learning the grow while stocking up on some top shelf reserve until I can score a clone of one of my favorites. From what I hear though…Akbeanbrains has some of the best northern lights, cat piss, and some other old school genetics. But this new school fruity shit is pretty effin good from Humboldt in the meantime. But beware, some of their strains are known to herm. I grew out a pineapple upside down cake and it threw male sacks around week 2 of flower. I picked them off a few times and harvested some excellent quality stuff with terps unlike anything I’ve smelled…smells very unique. That was the reason for the 2 tents in my first grow haha. Found ZERO seeds in the entire plant.
Oh and I’ll also add…”best in the world” is gonna be different for everyone. Take into account different tastes in highs, terpene profiles, flavors, etc. so just go with good breeders that tend to breed for what you’re looking for. I did a crap ton of research on breeding and how it works before ordering seeds… that along with some luck of the draw landed me on one I was impressed enough with to grow their stuff again for my second grow.
any water … I just went from RO to tap … my tap ppm 300 /ph7.9 .. no issues so far .

So what's the right way to pH your foliar feeds with nectar? So should I use my tap water so when I add the nutrients the pH isn't really low? Or should I use distilled and use GH ph up? With Bloom khaos I'm pretty sure I can just use distilled and the pH should come out in the mid-sixes but foliar feeding with Zeus Athena's Pegasus Poseidon stuff like that drops the pH of distilled water to the mid 5's. And use Olympus up to pH up so what do you think the best route is to take?
While we wait for bubba… I’m curious why you are foliar feeding those nutes? Are they not taking it up from the soil right now? Can you post some pics? I’m on my first run using Nectar so just looking for some insight into issues.

I'm using them at quarter strength for a stress relieving foliar spray for transplant. I transplanted yesterday.

I start feeding and foliar feeding at the beginning of week 4. I foliar feed a lot I usually spray it with something every morning. Mostly I use Bloom khaos every morning but one or two days a week I'll also use mixtures of other things maybe some photo Plus or trigger maybe some Pegasus kraken Poseidon Athena's. I like to mix it up and have gotten some explosive growth from these foliars and they're pretty hard to burn with except for BK. They work BK up to 5 MLS everyday all the way till week 2 of flower.
