White widow fast
View attachment 5176993
Now this plant according to seedsman is a 6 to 7 week plant. Meaning it should be cut down now. But as you can see it's not even close to ready. So confused
Those are guessing when they will be done … did u start counting from flip or when u see the 1st set of Pom poms ? Usually if you count from flip there still 2 weeks of transition… week 3 of flower is really week 1 of flower from flip ….

I've definitely heard that a lot and make sense. Is the white widow fast would be right on time then but not the case with the Bruce banger

And depends the color of trics and what your after with the buzz 80% cloudy , 10% amber …. If you don’t have a lope get one , will help you determine the finishing part…. The hairs turn red and still have a few white hairs but that’s ok , depends how long you want to push …

I have a nice scope. Going for that 80% cloudy 20% Amber.

Kind of hard though because different parts of the plant mature faster than others. I'll get it down harvesting is another thing I got to work on. I have clears I have Amber's and I have cloudy depending on what part of the plant I look at. I know I got to look at the ones on the galaxies and not the leaves too

As I was doing the labor of love of mixing up the flowering nutes this morning, I was thinking of how, over time, I've started to actually think some of the Nectar nutes smell pretty good. I don't know if this is just due to me using them for so long now that they've fried my brain or what....but what do any of you other Nectar users think? What's your top "good" smelling ones versus the ones that are absolutely horrid?

Sure, most have the minty smell. That's not what I'm talking about though. Instead, for me, there are two of the line-up that I sort of ....enjoy? In some sick way.

Mega Morpheus - This , to me, has a nice smoky smell - can't really put a better description on it but it is not bad. And to think that this is a positive comment about something derived from seagull shit. I probably have lost my mind.

Persephone's Palate - The nicest smelling of the bunch; to me, I smell a pretty nice BBQ sauce of some sort...and of course it almost looks like a BBQ sauce so....there's that. It doesn't smell good enough to make me want to experiment on a pork shoulder or anything but sodium lignosulphate just has that nice BBQ stink to it, right? Or am I really losing it?

Now, of course, there are the stankiest of the stankiest ones too.... What are the stanky-assiest ones of the line in your opinion?

For me, it is a tie between two rank ass stank solutions:

- Pegasus Potion - The stank on this seems to vary a smidge from bottle to bottle (or to me, anyhow); it probably depends on how much mint oil was added or something - but damn....this stuff reeks like a rotten crotch that's sat in a sweaty gym for decades. Omg. In some bottles, this reeks so bad I've almost dry heaved lol. But wow, this stuff works. Rock on crotch stink!

But for me - the worst, and omg how bad it is - is Triton's Trawl. Dude. This stuff. Holy fuck. I have dry heaved trying to cram those mls into my flowering batches. Holy crap. This stuff smells like a cross between a cesspool and rotten milk mixed with horseshit. And that is probably putting it lightly. Hah! This crap smells even worse than Photosynthesis Plus, which is one of the stankiest things in existence (imho).

Anyhow, maybe when you've gotten to this point and you like the smell of some of your nutes - it's probably a sign of something........not right.

Kraken and Triton's smell absolutely terrible and photo plus is probably the worst thing I've ever smelled. Using them all as we speak and my plants smell dank as f***

No worries…. Your welcome .
My next grow I'm growing dragons flame genetics blackberry moonshine bx1 X modified macberry moonshine. They're regular seeds and I've only grown fems so gonna be a new learning experience. I figure if I'm going to continue with this I should tried to find the best genetics I can and probably learn how to grow regular seeds trying to kill two birds with one stone. I may need you on this next one bud. I'll try not to bug you too much. I should probably start using a trellis net also. Since learning how to use this line I have buds leaning every which way.

Nice ! With Regs they won’t show there sex till after the 6th node ( mature) and another sign it’s a female is how the side branches grow they will be staggered ..

Help!

Hello all, Im getting some funky upper leaf coloring and am hoping someone can help. The girl in question is 29 days into flower. In 3 gallon containers with soil/compost. Running most of Greek regimen minus The Kraken. I add Epsom Salt in flower at about 1 tsp per gallon
I amended the soil/compost mix before planting the girls with Garden Lime (1/4 cup per 3 gallons) and 1 Shot (1/3 cup per 3 gallons) and it tested at... if memory serves 6.5 ph with maybe 400 PPM. The girls did fine in it. Just fighting the PH drift into low 6's.

Using non-chlorinated Spring Water

Slurries:
Post flip 6.6 / 220
17 days later 6.3 / 360
added 2 Tablespoons Espoma Garden Lime (you get at the orange big box store. Only Dolomitic lime I could find) added as top-dressing then worked it in
8 days later 6.3 / 555... this is today

Ive been PH'ing my feeds at 6.6 - 6.8 as Ive found in previous grows with NFTG nutes that I struggled to keep the PH up.

So those the stats... now a pic or two:

I had mites but eradicated them quickly, there were only ever I few that I found and I know you gotta jump on that, so I did. Other than that the usual fungus gnats and nothing else

How far away is your light? And are you seeing this across all of your tops or just the ones directly/near your light? I've seen similar with mine with LEDs - something I'm still trying to learn more as to the right distance. Samsung LEDs , especially, are epically bright and seem to induce some deficiencies/washout. Maybe up the Herc some more? What dosages are you running per gal, etc?

Im running a Spider Farmer sf4000 and this particular plant is like 13" away. But there are others in the tent even closer, same strain without issue.
I follow the advice of a fellow over on Y-Toob Migro is the name of his company/site and his opinion is to keep lthe lights as close as possible without negative consequences. I have 3 G13 Autos that are within 8" of the LED.
Having said that I wondered if it wasnt a consequence of the lights being too close. But then Im not seeing it on other plants.

I've just arrived at 60cc Herc every watering. Transitioned from 30-40-50-60cc over the course of a month while turning up the intensity of the light gradually as well.

Im concerned its PH related because it has been my experience, in various soil and/or peat and/or compost and/or perlite combinations once I've arrived at 60cc the PH just stays at 6.3. A month into flower it should be higher. This is true of the G13 Autos Im running and the Obama Kush photos.
Just how much lime (and specifically which kind) does one need to add into the medium to get the PH up?

You could try a good calcite-based lime (Down 2 Earth is a good one - if you're using 'garden lime" it is probably this or similar) and for 3 gallons perhaps try to top dress 1/8th of a cup, if even that? There's also the Nectar product - Chimera - but I've never used it yet. Same principle - top dress a smidge. Do a slurry after a watering or two and adjust/rinse/repeat perhaps? Have you done a good herc flush lately? If not, start there before anything else to see where you end up. Just my $.02 , hope this helps somehow - good luck

Thanks for the reply.
It appears the dolomite lime I added hasnt done much. Or maybe it has and the situation would be even worse otherwise.

There are 2 kinds of lime that Im familiar with in gardening: calcium carbonate and dolomitic lime. The owner of the NFTG nute line recommended the addition of calcium carbonate (1/4 cup per 3 gallon) when recharging a soil before planting. That I did. And as I dump all these acids (NTFG nute's) in the PH is continuously driven down.

Ive seen recommendations of using dolomitic lime while in flower specifically. That I also did.... 2 tablespoons and the PH stayed the same after a couple feedings at 6.3
I also tried the Chimera... didnt move the PH number at all

Has anybody had more luck, while in flower and dumping 60cc of Herc in, with one form of lime over another. I dont want to just start dumping a bunch of lime in but dont know what to do to counter the drift.
