Dude i have done 2 gaia herc flushes 7.0ph and my soil is still 5.7!! Im seriously loosing my mind. Today is week 4 of flower and there not praying any more. Im flirting with fire over hear. Can i flush as like 7.5? I need to get food to them asap there used to over 1800 every other day its been a week of gaia and herc 450ppm. I am using over 20ml of oly up and 45ml of herc. My soil is so stubborn. Also does it hurt to feed at 6.8 if my soil just keeps falling?

TopD be1, the palm ash will help raise ph. And just keep feeding normal doses of feed at 6.8/6.9. The other extreme would be to feed daily...ugh....but will keep them fed. Will have to reduce volume of feed though so you don't over water, feed strength may need reduced too if feeding daily.

I feed daily as it is so thats no problem. Thanks brotha! Ill keep feeding 6.8.
I imagine you have a nice crusty bone gum buildup that hinders feed penetration? Can try poking holes everywhere, 1-2" deep, this will help get the feeds & Oly up into the rootzone.

Dude ok so heres my new findings... i slurried today.... my favorite fucking plant that hasn't had food in 4 days slurried at 100ppm 5.4ph!!! I said wtf this thing has had 2 back 2 back flushes at 7.0. I decided to take a slurry more towards middle edge instead of right on edge of pot like i have always done. Voilà slurry is 100ppm 6.2ph wayyyyy better then the original. So my other really low plant was 5.7 500ppm i re slurry not so close to edge of pot once again 6.3ph 330ppm. Jeez man idk im going to just stick to regimen fftfff. And only slurry if i see a problem because all along my plants look amazing except just one. I also re watched alot of scott and bobs videos and i have never done a actual flush to wash the soil out with run off. The whole plants like ive only fed tea and flushed to 100% saturation never any run off. And ive spent so much time battling slurries to plants that look great instead of following the regimen so they have been neglected flushes and teas there entire life. Im going to slurry at the flush day of the regimen and see how this week of feeding and teas go. If we burn it to the ground so be it lol I'm tired of this root zone headache lol. Wish me luck fellas. Any idea why my slurries at the very edge of pot would be so different then a inch towards the middle? I usually dust off top in” of soil dig tbsp in 1” and drag up the side of the pot 2 tbsp of soil 2 tbsp of water. Im going to feed 1/2 gallon every day then flus with 10% run off who knows how much garbage is at the bottom of these poor girls. The slurry towards middle of pot is rough all u hear is roots snapping.

don't take slurries at the same spot , always do slurries closer to the edge , again at a different spot .... if at same spot it could be cause of the slurries kinda doing a mini flush ... then closer to the plant you get in range ... now you got a heavy feeder with a ppm 100 she starving stop the slurries and roll with it !!! do the regular fft/fff .. last thing you want is a total flush unless you have big issues .... but you can..... herc flush at 10% runoff ....email the beard and see what he says ...

No i never slurry same spot but with this many slurrys i imagine ive had to dug every piece of soil around the edge there is lol. Yea thats the conclusion ima roll with it and just follow the regimen. This even has scott scratching his head lol. I have #4 soil always feed ph accordingly never feed to run off i just dont whats wrong with the soil i cant get it to buffer for the life of me.

I am just finishing up mid flower going into late flower .. it shows 2 weeks for a ripening flush ... is this just demeters/herc/aphrodite and thats it for the last 2 weeks ?

Irie told me 30ml AE 30ml herc.
Can throw in 30 ml Tritons for the first week of ripening too. I do a week of Herc/triton/Aphro at 30 ml each and then at least a week of plain 6.5 ph water.........try to get slurries down under 250 ppm....I do a 36 hour dark period and then CHOP!!

Have you tracked slurries? If so, where do you stand as of now? Late bloom will still have some full feeds before ripening starts, so if your starting week 6, I would keep feeding!! Can give some more suggestions if we know your slurries and perhaps what you been feeding!! Did you have a good run so far?

Week 2 of flower finished, gotta lay off the Foliar bk now. Finally started seeing some yellowing on leaf margins, and did a slurry to find that plant was a lil low on the ph at 6.2 and was at 1100 ppm (less then 24 hrs since fed 2200 ppm ) which I feel would be lower if 12 hr later. I gave her a herc flush with a raised ph of 6.7 to allow for her to compensate for the BK. My compost tea really got the soil in a good place and I should have backed off my feed strength a little bit. Hopefully I have a little more balance in the next week.

Hey everyone! I've poked around this thread a time or two. Well its time to settle in, got my second grow going and as I said before using NFTG all the way. I got some plants in solo cups a tad over a week old. When should I start using NFTG? Go easy on me my first grow was autos in FFOF.

Are you still growing AUTOs? and give us a few more of your grow specs:are they seedlings or clones, strain type, light type, soil type, feed regiment, average temp/humidity, TEA type, ph & ppm meter, pot size, etc. Take a slurry test of the soil you used in the solo cups, from the bag, and I assume you will be using the same soil to transplant up soon so its important to know your slurry starting point in order to guage when to start feeds.......the plant will show signs too when she is ready for nectar feeds.

No more autos. Seedlings. Strains are Mosca Bubble Gum Boogie an Barneys 8 Ball Kush, both indica dominant. Light is a Timber Fatty VS led. Soil NFTG #4. Don't have a regiment yet. Temp avg 75F, humidity avg 65%. I have no tea, please tell me what I need. I have a ph&ppm meters. Final pot size will be 5 gallons. I will do a slurry test in the morning. Thanks IrieRoots!

Well you got the tools!! SLF-100 is a living enzyme product that is pretty important to use with nectar, and grab a microbial product for TEA days like Cultured Biologix EZ teas, or Photosynthesis Plus, or you can aerate worm castings. Bokashi is nice to have around too. I'm assuming you have at least the Sample Pack? Do you have any other nectar bottles?

Thanks again IrieRoots, I will look into the things you listed. I am a little busy the next few days but am planning on hitting the grow shop on Friday. My first grow with the autos was an experiment to find flaws in the system I put together, and man did I find some, I didn't start this grow until I corrected them. Here is the journal I started a few days ago.

Yes I do have the sample kit nothing more.

Cool, if you want to add a nectar bottle, grab Aphrodites. But if want to just stick to the Sample kit, you might want to grab some extra Herc, gallons are best bang for buck and possibly more Olympus up because both are so important and running out would be a major flaw. I will check your journal out.......you slurry your bag soil yet?
