Next hype strain

Miracrop, (FrostyMcNosty) has all his Shortier crosses out and I personally think they are killer. I have Amtrak, Get Shorty, & Sonic Boom currently and will be running them this fall. I have been pretty stuck on SQ1 & RobinHood the past 3-4 yrs but really loving what he has been putting out.

No I haven't tried GrandiGuava yet, seems interesting. It's funny though, because I wasn't a big fan of their Runtz cut. It wasn't bad, but not that great either IMO. I've had the Slurricane cut for a while now, it's one of the frostiest cuts I've ever run. I'm surprised that you didn't find it potent, how long did you flower it for?

Compared to other runtz, i think it’s the best.
The slurricane didn’t have the biggest nugs, but yeah was frosty good. Great smelling and tasting but the snobs talked shit so i aint gonna blow it up. Flowered for 11weeks from flip. I’m afraid of anything with purple punch in it tell you the truth

I grew some relentless frozay 2.1 very very nice stuff along with his trop cherry. At any rate I left a male in the tent and pollinated all my cuts. Good thing I'm glad I did forget that I had a male. Cause now I got thousand of seeds to run through again. I wouldn't sleep on relentless either

I think Runtz just isn't my thing. To me it's "chick weed". It's not bad, but not great either, mostly just hype. I think 11-weeks is too long to flower Slurricane. 9-10 is the sweet spot for that cultivar IMO. I agree that the yield isn't great, but it's also not terrible.

Yeah but pcg’s cut of the runtz has color motherfuckers need color now again.
The runtz is stonier than their slurricane cut and it’s more purple.

smells great. Yields good. Smokes good but not really that powerfull. We’re up against some shit right now. I need some more colorful fire. Prob need to pheno hunt from beans because i’m not really all that stoked with what i got right now

I can't see the color when I roll it up and smoke it. Slurricane does purple up pretty nice for me at 10 weeks. I just don't really like the flavor or the bud consistency of Runtz. Everyone likes something different though.

Just like with pretty much all pcg cuts over the years, they better fucking purple up lol.
The slurricane is so frosty it looks white in the end. Their runtz isn’t gdp purple but it has more color than dhn’s “white runtz” etc. my buddies like it better than the slurricane thats all i can go by before blowing shit up to packs. This market is fucked. I also have some shitty opinions on new strains i start. I grew the cake for a while they’re all used to some heavy shit. I grew the cake to color btw.

Idk if it counts as hype but Ive been talking to my dispensary buddies and they were saying most of the regular everyday customers want strictly "sativa" strains. I realize dispos dont run real sativas and that people are hoping to see a haze comeback but past all that I think the general market consumers are hungriest for some fresh sativa work.

I'll be honest though, I'm younger and like indicas but Ive had all of the famous ones many many times over the last years. With that said Ive never even seen or smelled real examples of even some of the most famous sativas. Haze, panama red and colombian maybe barely but never thai, vietnamese or any of the african ones. If somebody found a really good pheno amongst those I think you would have something truly exotic and hard to get and actually stand out in the market. But having never even seen those genetics I have no idea if Im right or not lol

Last pheno hunt i did was dolato from IHG. Fucking the most gourgeous strain i’ e ever grown in 30yrs.


Fucking shit was a girly high like your talking. Worse than what mofos said about blackberry kush remember that one? Not from pcg but that was a beautiful cut going around the bay area that only lasted so long because the high was weak as fuck

Yeah, I grew blackberry kush once like 10 years ago. I loved the flavor, but yeah the smoke was pretty weak. Honestly I don't care too much about potency, because I don't sell my weed, and I roll joints 99% of the time, so I'm always smoking a decent quantity in a sitting anyway. Personally I'd rather have blackberry kush than something like the white, which I find to be completely flavorless. I've heard good things about dolato.

When I have extra I give it away, but the wife likes to smoke a lot so I don't usually have a lot of extra lol. Selling vs personal is definitely two different beasts. Sometimes I think about setting up an extra tent for sales, but then I remember the days that I used to sling nugs and all the crap that goes along with it that I hate to deal with, so I just keep puffing it and giving the extra away.

i had a killer pheno of white fire that i killed it with for a few years. But back to pcg cuts. The Mac1. Man is it frost, color also comes through but it’s got that alien in it. Never have been a fan of the alien. but i know what you’re talking about the white. Kinda just a blah addition to allot of strains. Except when you got a good pheno of that and fire og cross
