Ok i have personally been referred to Greenlifeseeds.com by the High Times Cultivation Reporter "Nico Escondido" to order from them. Turns out i never ended up ordering from them because i kinda preferred feminized seeds. But if u want to know, I order from Mandala and they're fuckin great, i love them no prob no worries , great seeds 19/20 germinated. Here's the site you'll thank me later. Peace Homie

I will keep you updated: I am a California 215 compliant MMJ user and I ordered ISS from Greenlifeseeds on 3/31. I am also posting my experience on Treatingyourself.com, although Marco seems to back Jay pretty dogmatically IMHO. Marco, who is a standup guy, keeps defending Jay (who owns both Next Generation Seeds and Green Life Seeds) wantonly. Marco is, in effect, enabling Jay to make excuses, although I believe Marco's intentions are good.

Now, I'm sorry, but my feeling is excuses are like as*holes...There are plenty of Canadian seed companies that actually ship and have a decent business model: Hempdepot, BC Bud, etc... For Jay to keep demonizing the Gestapo po po's seems a bit "over the top".

Well, one would think that with a long history of bad service (ie: since 2006), Jay would want to step it up...However, Marco is indicating that Jay has sporadic access to the internet. I'm starting to think "Hey, why run an internet company if you can't get access to the web consistently?" The excuse that he's "on the run" is scary. Jay's got a lot of 'splainin' to do.

Hold your fire. I will let you know the outcome.

there's plenty of people out there that claim non-delivery, sketchy service since 2006. Supposedly since the new European addy, all problems have been solved...I'm here to determine that and hopefully help some other MMJ patient get better info.

Jay's ability to access the internet scares me a bit. If the reason is that he's on the run (as Cervantes posted in HT), that can't be good. Just seems to me there's plenty of other Canadian shops that don't have all the issues.

I am hoping that I can help (in some way) give Jay a fresh start here with his new addy.

I sincerely hope that Greenlife has improved and become a stellar/reliable company, but my first priority is to protect my fellow MMJ patients. peace.

never had a problem with greenlife. always had good stock, nice healthy plants all the time.

No response to the 2 emails I sent about 7 days ago...I guess Marco said that Annie's out of town for two weeks -- but I'm not lookin' for anymore excuses folks.

Sent off for a (backup) order of ISS from Hempdepot today. We'll see which one arrives first ;-)

I started this thread over a year ago because of an article I read in High Times that talked about Next Generation and how good their strains were.

Turns out Jay Generation was the author of the story and also the owner of Next Generation seeds. As you can imagine he had very few bad things to say about about his company. Fuck High Times and their in depth journalism.

Yea, Dutch. It's pretty obvious that there's quite a bit of "advertorial" in a publication like High Times...And then the way Cervantes himself defended Jay in a subsequent letter to the editor.... Publications that kowtow to the almighty advertising dollar really do the MMJ community a big disservice. This patronization of advertisers is just a fact of life in this world, the problem is that with a situation like this, it's the most vulnerable in our community (MMJ patients) that suffer. Editorial/otherwise reputable writers pushing unworthy seedbanks at the expense of the vulnerable and niave can only get worse as "canna advertising" dries up with the current economic situation (there are several canna sites that are going by the wayside due to lack of advertising in this economic downturn).

It is up to US/more important than ever now to ferret out the truth and, along with sites such as seedbankupdate, publish our experiences to prevent the least who can afford it from getting fu*ked. Peace.

Received, but extraordinarily shitty. Out of 11, 4 were crushed and the remaining 7 look like they're ancient. They are brownish and my gut feel tells me they won't germinate. There was no packaging just a pen scrawl "ISS" on the plastic. The type of packaging precludes the 4 from being crushed in the post, so they were sent shitty. The biggest idiocy, though is that the remaining seeds are all different sizes...Some are 5x as big as the others. These, truly, are the type of seeds that I would expect the DEA to send. You've been warned (again).

PS: Please don't suggest that I take it up with "Jay"..He will NOT respond to any emails.

I guess you don't want hear this either: you could have got ISS form Hemp Depot either from Federation or Legends Seeds.
It's sad to see a great company like Next Generation go down hill like that. Do I smell a crack pipe ?

Hey frmrboi, when I started to sense the "crack pipe" about two weeks ago, I sent a backup order to Brad (which I should have done in the first place). Confirmation email from Brad a couple days ago. Not a big deal to me, I just hope there's no MMJ patients that are more hard-up that get ripped off.

Rec'd some very healthy looking seeds today with some stealth that was unprecedented and very creative. I will let you all know how they grow out, but I'm feeling lots of good karma right now. Peace.

how does a person know if its advertorial in HT.i was ready to grow some burmeese and a buddy knew about it,he brought me a HT issue that talked about and praised the burmeese so now i never germinated the seeds,i read the 3 issues my buddy brought and it seems that it is always the same seedbanks and breeders,i think it is kushman that was one of them, then you find out i believe he found the straberry cough cutting and HT hypes it,if your not a friend of danko or kushman you get no print,i think the cannabis medical community needs a good rag, because if HT recomends something i dont touch it.because i think HT is a kiddie mag.Put a bud on the cover from some stock photos and they think they are hip.But you are right to many people get duped by that cheap mag and its staged cups,no one knows what is anvertorial or who is buddies with danko and kushman, because that seems to be the critereia to get in the mag.hopefully a down to earth med cannabis mag comes out that isnt a sell out.
