Twin: Day 35 - Flowering Day 20

Not much to say about what's goin on today. Instead of her usual 1/2 nch of growth she grew an entire inch last night. She's boasting 9.5 inches tall right now. The buds just keep getting larger and the pistils longer and more plentiful. That's about it. I noticed a burn on one of my fan leaves that was from a CFL that isn't as well cooled as the others. A small price to pay to be able to get light as close as I am getting it. Either way I adjusted and everything is fine. She's well on her way to harvest.

A space ship is coming to take away my fire nugs noooooooo!!!

notice on the bottom 4 macro pics u see that the tips on some of the pistils are browning. im not sure why that is. they look like perfectly normal healthy pistils but 3 weeks into flowering for the tippity tip of the pistils to be a little brown seems odd.

Well she's really cooking now. I arose to see that crystals are now forming on the leaves. She's now 11 inches tall and 15 1/2 inches in diameter. All but 2 of her secondary branches have turned into full blown colas each with their own lower branches with buds on them. All of the parts of the main stems that are showing from her stretch are filling in nicely and I'm definitely picturing each cola turning into one single bud instead of a bud here a bud there like you see on alot of grow shows. Let's let the pics do the talking.

Look how many god damn colas there are going to be.

She's lookin real good today indeed. She's starting to get crystals on the inner light green part of the leaves that are surrounding and inside of the buds. The pistils are multiplying exponentially and she really is looking astounding I must say. The few minor burnt tips on some of the leaves are far outweighed by the ability to get the lights so close to the buds.

only around 4 weeks to go!!! i just mixed up my first batch of 3/4 strength 15-30-15 bloom booster which im going to use for 2 weeks, then the last two weeks nothin but straight up water. here's her feeding schedule up to now:

-Day 7 of flowering - Watered w/3 liters 1/8 strength 10/15/10 6.8 pH (Schultz)

-Day 9 of flowering - Watered w/3 liters 1/2 strength 10/15/10 6.8 pH

-Day 11 of flowering - Watered w/3 liters 1/2 strength 10/15/10 6.8 pH

-Day 12 of flowering - Still seemed a little thirsty so watered w/1 liter 1/2 strength 15/30/15 6.8 pH (This is the day i switched to bloom booster)

-Day 15 of flowering - Watered w/2 liters of 1/2 strength 15-30-15 6.8 pH (just to make sure she didnt get any burns.

-Day 16 of flowering - Looked fine so I administered the other 1 liter of 1/2 strength 15-30-15 6.8 pH

-Day 19 of flowering - Watered w/3 liters of 1/2 strength 15-30-15. I had ran out of pH up and down and so I adjusted using vinegar and baking soda respectively. Well the day I made the batch I got it to 6.8. I watered on day 19 then for some reason I thought to check the run off and realized it was 7.2. I pH'd the feed and then realized it was back to 7.6 for some reason. I quickly resolved this problem.

-Day 21 of flowering - Watered w/3 liters 1/2 strength 15-30-15 6.8 pH

And like I said for the last 2 weeks of feeding I will be using 3/4 strength 15-30-15 bloom booster. If I see any problems I will reduce it back to 1/2 strength. Wish me luck!

------------------------------------Vertical growth has stopped at 11.5". So one main cola is 11.5" tall and the second is 10.75" tall. There is around 20 or so other sidebranches that have made their way to become miniature colas rather than just supplementary buds on the single cola. Some of the smaller colas buds are as large around as the smaller colas top which is remarkable. I'm really looking forward to watching the weight pile on now that she has finished her upward climb.

when did u sow that she's not almost ready yet? my late may grows for the past 2 years have always been ready around this time. she's hella big tho lookin good. i actually was going to do this grow as a transfer to outdoors for flowering but i really didnt think she would transfer well during this heat wave even if i hardened her off for a good amount of time.

edit: actually ive always wanted to try an off-season outdoor grow because several friends of mine have done it and gotten fairly good harvests from them. not as much as an on season grow of course but i think it might be worth the effort. any experience with that in our neck of the woods?

All of the visible stem on the main colas is disappearing as the buds swell and fill in the gaps. They are going to produce some fine one piece nugs.
