Leggo, I don't think you'll need to flush them for very long, being hydro and all. I know soil growers are supposed to flush for two weeks but it takes two or three waterings just to flush all the nutes out of the medium for them. I grow soiless and I flush for 5 days max. I know what unflushed bud smokes like (chem taste and sparking and crackling from heavy metals still in the bud) and mine has none of that. With true hydro I think you would need only the same or even shorter time. Maybe DL can weigh in here. I just know I like to feed as long as possible not only to provide nutrients for bud production but also because hungry plants (plants being flushed) are weak and more susceptible to mold and other problems.About 50% of my pistils are/have turned orange/brown (most of the Colas are still white).... I was gonna flush at 40%... but decided to keep the nutes in there a bit more, in hopes of fat buds :-/
okay, thats all.
Hey Mared!! Yeah I'm getting more and more open to letting my nutes go a little longer...Leggo, I don't think you'll need to flush them for very long, being hydro and all.
