Hey everyone I'm new here, hope everyone is good! Just have a few questions if you would be so kind to help with them..

I'm thinking about a hydro set up as a freind said I can have all his gear as he didn't end up using f it,

I need to know what's the minimum width. Length and height to be able to use 600w lights with either 2 or 3 40 litre resovoirs, I don't understand stuff about lumens at all but if you could just break it down and let me know the sizes that would be a great help

Also what would be the best amount of plants to have in that kind of set up and what should I expect to get out of it?

Any help is much appreciated

I'd start with auto plants. They are small, fast and usually forgiving.

My buddy is a commercial grower in hydro and he uses one 1000W. light for 16 plants to a grow.
He uses those long black plastic roughs and pits 4 plants to each trough.

You will be much better off with one resovoir instead of multiple ones. Get a large tote container
like 2 x 3 x 2 feet and use a submersible pump inside the res. Clogged lines will be your big problem
and one res. is a lot easier to keep in line.

If your light has a reflector it's easy to figure that lights coverage area. Just hold a stick alongside the outside
of the bottom of the reflector. That straight line shows you the area covered by that set-up.

Good luck, BigSteve.
