Hope you guys can help- I think I may have messed up and hope to salvage. Germed seeds in paper towels and planted yesterday with white tap root up because of info that root will turn 180 degrees. Today, the root was above the soil so I (mistakenly) removed the humidity cover and put a light on it. After some research, it seems root should be planted down and the cover should stay on until first leaves emerge.
Have I totally ruined these seeds, or do you guys think that I can carefully remove them (or add soil) when I get home, replace the humidity cover, and they'll continue to grow okay? I'm a bit worried I just messed it all up.
